*One Week Later*
My grandma was pushing me on the swings. She was humming a tune to herself as I soared threw the air. The sound of laughter filled the fresh outside autumn air as I yelled, "higher! Higher!."
I jolt awake to the sound of my own heart beating. Another one. I have been having these dreams about my grandma. They aren't exactly nightmares, but memories. I hated waking from them. I wish I could just stay in my dreams forever.
I get ready to head to the Curtis house. I shower, brush my teeth, change, and put on some makeup.
I picked my bag off the ground of my messy room that was once clean and I slid on my black high top converse.
"Where are you going?" I hear my grandma yell from the kitchen. I ignore him and walk out of the door.
I didn't want to show up at the Curtis house empty handed so I decided I would get some stuff from a grocery store.
As I walked into one of the tiny corner grocery store the tiny bell rang and I was greeted by a worker. I faked her a smile and headed towards the back to where the drinks and smokes were.
I looked around in the empty store and when no one was looking I slipped five beers, three packs of cigarets and a Twix bar into my bag.
I pretended to look at the magazines for a while before giving the worker another fake smile and walking off.
I laughed to myself as I excited. She was so stupid. This was by far the best steal I had yet.
I then began my trek over to the Curtis house.
I walked in to see that only Johnny, Two, Pony, and Dally were there. "Hey" I say taking my bag off my shoulders.
They all waved back and returned to what they were doing. I opened my bag and got everything that I have just stolen out of my bag and onto the floor.
Everyone realized this and just stared at the pile then to me. "I didn't want to come empty handed" I say shrugging my shoulders while opening a pack of cigarets.
"Where'd you get all this?" Two asks amused as he walked over to get a beer.
"Some tiny little crap grocery store" I respond "did you steal it?" Dally asked questionably. "Yeah. What's it to you?" I ask giving him a hard glare "it doesn't just wondering" he says holding his arms up in surrender. "It was expensive I didn't want to pay for it that's all" I say more softly. I hated being harsh towards Dally, it confuses him.
"No sweat" he says walking over and taking the two packs of cigarets. I quickly catch his wrist "Dallas Winston those are not all for you!" I say. He pulled his wrist away from me "they are now" he says with a wink as he walks out the door.
I roll my eyes and eat my candy bar. "What made you get into shop lifting?" Johnny asked shyly "for the rush I guess" I say saying the first thing that came to mind.
He nodded his head in understandment "sounds like Dally" Two says taking a sip of his beer.
He was right. I have been acting more like Dally ever since my grandma died. I started smoking, drinking, shop lifting, and even fighting. The gang has been picking up on this, especially Dally, but they have been trying their best to keep their mouths shut about it.
"Guess were more alike then we all think" I say taking another bite of my chocolate bar.

We all hung out at the house for a while sitting and watching TV. There wasn't much else to do considering everyone was gone. I ended up falling asleep on the couch for a bit, but woke up when I heard the rest of the gang come in.
