"Ow!! Damn will you watch where you're go-- oh Yoongi! You're here! We've been searching the whole place for you," Taehyung said as he rubbed his forehead.

I must have been out of their sight for more than 15 minutes.

Yes, they have been timing my disappearances ever since I tried to kill myself almost a year ago.

Around the time I lost Emily.

A trauma, creating a trauma, creating another trauma.

"I was trying to find you, but I had to make a quick stop at the teacher's office. Did you see the new girl?"

He shook his head, "No, but I think Ms. Keen will introduce her to class later, she mentioned earlier about a new student and pleaded we be nice to he," then he eyed me curiously, "Is there a particular reason for this sudden interest?"

I pondered.

"I don't know."

"Well let's go to the others then. I brought boiled string beans. Don't worry they're properly cooked, and I'm sure I have taken out the wriggly insects in them before I boiled them, or the wriggly things cooked with them..."

"Worms." I stared at the younger.

"No, not worms. Tiny tiny caterpillars."

"Urgh, let's just go..."

~~~~^~~~~
"What's an anatomical snuff box?" a very curious Jungkook and Hoseok asked the brightest, but the most disastrous human being alive Namjoon.
"See this hollow portion here between your thumb and wrist when you move the thumb like this? It was used to hold powdered tobacco, to inhale it."
"Woah, really? Can we try..."
Jin hit their heads with a heavy book. "This is supposed to be for your homework, not to actually do it."
Jimin protested. "How will we know if we don't try?"
"Just! Get the idea from the freaking description!" He sighed heavily.
I wasn't paying much attention to them, even letting Taehyung shove a string bean in my mouth. I spat it out when he wasn't looking, remembering about the earlier conversation about the "wriggly insects". I shuddered at the thought.
"Hey, Yoongi! Earth to you?"
I looked over to them. All eyes were on me.
"What?"
"You seem so serious there. What's on your mind?" Namjoon asked.
The gray-eyed girl.
"Nothing."
I want to know more.
"I need to go to the bathroom. I'll meet you in class, Jin."
Ignoring their stares, I walked hurriedly out of the cafeteria to try to look for her or Ms. Keen.
I tried the office, but they were not there. I asked another teacher where Ms. Keen could be, but he said he does not know. I wasn't aware of her schedule, so I decided to stop looking.
Feeling defeated, I trudged to my next class.
I plopped down the chair, threw my head back, and closed my eyes.
Why.
Why are you both playing with my mind?
What was her name again?
Mia.
I must remember that. Such a pretty name. Such a sweet looking girl.
I want to protect her.
From what?
I don't know.
I just felt the need to protect her.
