"Yoongi, you're scary when you drive."
She wanted to bury herself right there in the car seat as I sped up after reaching the main street. After weeks and weeks of pursuading her to let me drive her home, she agreed reluctantly.
"I know. I'm scared, too," I mumbled through my fingers as I nibble on my nails.
"Could you please put both hands on the wheel?" she snarled as she fought the urge to jump out of the car. "I think I'd rather walk next time. Why did I even let you do this..."
"Will you relax? I won't send us crashing onto a tree or a building so just... Calm down, you're distracting me." She was pushing way too hard on the floor of my car, and breathing heavily. "Mia, I can hear you breathing. Will you stop?"
"Both hands on the wheel, Yoongi."
I complied. Apparently, all the nails in my hands were trimmed raggedly. She let out a sigh of relief and stopped fidgeting as both my hands were on the wheels now. Maybe that's what she was waiting for.
"Thank you," she whispered, looking out her window to admire the view. She noticed a small box on the dashboard.
"You can open it, if you like," I said. She carefully opened the box, and took out the content.
"Oh wow, it's beautiful!" She held the jewelry box, admiring it.
"I'll be delivering it to my mom's friend. It's my part-time job, you see. I like to make things with wood. I repair antique relics as well."
She smiled softly. "That's really nice. What did you do with this?"
"The music box stopped working, so I cleaned it and replaced some parts. Now it's good as new. Go ahead, open the lid. I forgot to check if the ballerina was dancing."
I know everything was working. I just needed to see if she will be impressed. As soon as the music started, I heard her gasp.
"Oooh look at her, she's dancing! You're so cool, Yoongi!"
"You want one?"
"Oh, no. This must've cost a fortune..." she returned it to its box and carefully placed it beside her.
I stopped by at her house, still in awe of its grandiose structure. How much I wanted to drag my dad to see what we can do to restore it.
"Thanks for the ride. Uhm, see you tomorrow."
I nodded and smiled, waiting for her to enter her house before driving off.

My mother's friend promised recommendations to her colleagues, which meant I'll have more work in the future. She was so impressed with my work that she ordered a vanity mirror and dresser, but agreed kindly that it may take long to do because of school. This good news will surely make my parents proud, especially my dad.
I was about to jump into my car when I heard purring noises near my rear tires. Good thing I checked, because I would have smooshed a poor kitten to smithereens. His fur was white and gray, a left gray sleeve and a racoon tail. His slit eyes were gray just like Mia's, pink nose and pink toe beans. He looked so afraid and lost. When it saw me, he immediately ran to my feet, curled and purred. How cute.
"Hey there. Where's your owner?" The little furball continued to rub himself against my leg, his little paw clawing the denim.
"I know where to take you."

"Are you crazy? What are you doing here? My dad's downstairs!"
Mia was freaking out as I tapped on the window of her bedroom on the second floor. I also wondered how I was able to climb, and why I did not think of knocking on the front door instead.

Fanfic"Arms up, Mia." I held her sweater above her head, the neck and arm holes ready for her just to slip in. "I am perfectly capable of getting dressed on my own, Yoongi..." "C'mon. Please?" She obliged, her hands raised in the air. I slid the armholes...
