Liam and Zayn were friends since the day Zayn found Liam at the stairs, silently reading his new book, and smiling every now and then, sometimes, his eyes would go teary, Zayn found Liam as a strange man, but, that’s what Zayn liked in Liam. When Liam looked up and saw Zayn, embarrassment conquered his head, he’s over his teens world, a man just saw him crying and laughing at this book that he’s reading, Liam could’ve always headed home or stayed in his room and read his book, but Sophia; his cousin; stayed over, and all she ever does is make fun of Liam’s love over books.
“What’re you doing out here in the stairs, man?” Zayn asks casually, treating Liam like they’ve been friends forever.
“I, well, Sophia’s, I mean-“
“Did your wife kick you out or something?” Zayn asks and Liam just really had to laugh at that.
“No woman can kick me out of my place, and I’m not married, that’s too overworked for me” Liam said with a chuckle, and Zayn chuckles along.
“Zayn” Zayn said and sticks out his hand.
“Liam” Liam said with a small smile and shook Zayn’s hand.
“So, what’re you reading?” Zayn asks
“Dear John” Liam answers
“I’ve watched that! Channing Tatum and that woman!” Zayn exclaims
“Well, that’s what I’m reading” Liam assures.
“Which part are you in?” Zayn asks
“What do you mean?”
“It gets really sad, you might end up crying like I did” Zayn says.
“So, you cried while watching it?” Liam asks with a playful smirk.
