"I always love to see  new tributes join us... We never know what they'll be like, or what  they've got up their sleeves." -Fillius Ravenscar

Name: Finn Albidella

Age: 18

Gender: Male

District: Four

Physical Appearance:  http://iamfinn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Shot7-5031.gif (Finn  Harries) Finn has short, wavy and thick gravy-brown hair. Like a wave  it's shorter round the sides and grows higher on top, stylishly swaying  to the left. With a somewhat childish face, his skin is of a clear  peachy-pink complexion. His eyes are mostly a deep brown with a glaze of  a deep jade-green. Finn is constantly smiling and his eyes are usually  bursting with a youthful ambition. He stands at six foot with a broad,  sporty build and thick long neck - naturally as a boy from District  Four.

Personality - Finn is  somewhat quieter than his twin, Felix. He's more collected, calm and  easy going though some would see this as just "shy,". Finn often broods  around the place and has his head in the clouds when compared to Felix's  active and ambitious attitude. Much like his mother, Finn is kind  natured, polite, easy to get along with and perhaps a little too  oblivious to things such as war, poverty and especially girls. Although  seemingly lacking in confidence, he's always seen with a smile; having a  brilliant sense of humour and attitude towards most tasks set before  him.

Craft: He helps his  uncle design and make boats, nets and ships for the harbours of district  four, as well as having his own private collection of projects at home.

Skills: Creative with  architecture and design. He's also quite handy at building a sturdy  structure from limited resources. Naturally a talented swimmer.

Weapon of choice: typically a trident or spear with nets. Prefers to throw his spears long ranged.

Token: His fathers Shark-Tooth pencil.

Backstory: From a  wealthy family, his life was to lead a natural and healthy course until  when he was around the early age of six Felix and Finn woke at the sound  of their parents arguing. Their dad wanted to get away from District  Four and away from Panem but of course their mother passionately  disagreed. Their stubborn father ignored his wife, took Felix and  attempted an escape by boat. The two were caught and viciously beaten as  punishment for what they had done... The father and his five year old  child; Finn's twin. Finn's father payed with his life and was hanged  before the whole district. Since then the mother has done all she can to  protect Felix, somewhat overlooking her second son. Felix went on to  achieve attention from most and grew to be an outgoing character; their  mother was even thrilled when he got engaged at eighteen. Constantly  overshadowed; Finn adapted to his life.

Finn Albidella: District Four

ClockeryClock

"Minnie Amentia!"

They repeat her name and it hurts just as much.

A small ripple of  relieved yet nervous movement shuffles from the corner of my eye. Felix  digs his nails into my arm and stares in disbelief as Minnie takes to  the stage. I can almost see her heart beating from her throat. Felix  stutters beside me.

"No, don't you dare;  don't you dare volunteer, you hear me?!" I spit at my identical twin.  His eyes so like mine have a spark of vacancy... An emptiness the likes  of which I've never seen before from him.

"And now, for the boys!" The squealing woman states with excitement.

"Felix, listen to me! Don't volunteer, I know you're upset..."

"Quiet over there!" A peacekeeper whips from behind us.

The woman dips her pampered hands into the bowl... Her claiming fingers thriving with the excitement of playing fate.

"Please... Don't.." I  whisper again. I see my mum out the corner of my eyes. She's waiting,  her focused face just as calm as the day father left.

She's strong as steel, people would say.

My mother jolts a little  as the woman at the front snatches a name from the list of condemned  children. I know she's scared for Felix. I know she'd have nothing left  if he died. She's taken a lot and I begin to question... How strong is  steel?

Felix slowly moves to stare at me, his shocked but calming eyes locked on mine.

"Finn.. I have to..." He whispers and slowly turns back; his hand itching to rise in the air; daring to set his destiny.

I see my mother again and I think; even steel can be broken.

"I volunteer!"

The words fall like the  wind from my shaking mouth. I have stepped forward... Felix's face is  pale, Minnie's heart stops beating from her throat and my mother... My  mother...

She just smiles through forming tears.
