"I always love to see a new tribute join us. We never know what they'll be like, or what they've got up their sleeves." -Fillius Ravenscar
Name: Jerphydius Sylverstar
Age: 16
Gender: Male
District: Five
Physical Description: Straightened chestnut brown hair, bangs curving slightly above his right eyebrow; fiery amber eyes; a slight tan covered every inch of his muscular body; tall for his age.
Personality: Rebellious - he had gotten the trait from his father. Sarcastic and trustworthy, but fears untrustworthiness of others as he'd learnt about the things that could happen when somebody you trusted betrayed you - he'd lived it. Apart from all of that, he was generally a nice guy that needed something or someone to replace his emptiness.
Craft: Power plant security officer.
Skills: Combat, disappearing, hunting and is an encyclopedia of plants.
Weapon of Choice: Any weapon Jer can get his hands on, he can use, though he favours using sneakier tricks.
District Token: He was given back the medallion he his younger sister that was made of wire and was as hard as diamond; it was given back to him as a sign of good luck.
Back Story: His father, Pherydin, was a Victor from the Capitol and his sister, Cathlina Ivy, was recently the Victor of 5. His family were fighters.
Their whole family had stayed at the Capitol for awhile when his father was working as a stylist for the tributes; of course, his father disapproved the Games, which wasn't normal or acceptable for someone from the Capitol.
After a few years, Pherydin retired and they moved to 5, the home of their mother; they loved it there. Not long after, Ivy fell in love with a boy and they became boyfriend and girlfriend, which was one of the worst things she should've done.
Little did they know, after gaining their trust, he'd betray them. Their father was gone and the three of them stayed in their house all by themselves, grieving and wanting revenge. They even pledged not to trust anyone else, only to depend on each other and themselves, which wasn't hard as their hearts filled with ice.
Their father taught them and to practice them everyday, just in case they were reaped. It turned out that they did in fact need those skills.

Jerphydius Sylverstar: District Five

Usually, I'd wake up early, Ivy and I would spar and go out for a jog. For the past four years of my life, there was always one day that I detested waking up: reaping day. Today was that day, but here's the catch, this was the second one held this year. It was tradition to hold another Games to honour the life of a recently deceased Gamemaker; as rare as it seemed, it still happened, like it was happening today. I didn't want to honour the life of someone who ended so many people's cruelly.
My mum shouted up the stairs for the sixty-eighth time for me to get ready for the reaping and to eat something for breakfast; I was guessing that she knew I was still hidden beneath the covers. We needed to dress up and look all pretty for the cameras, though us guys did not want to look pretty.
Grudgingly, I slid down the stairs and ate a minuscule amount of the toast; it was how I was taught to eat from a young age, so I could go the extra mile if I was in the Games, whilst all the other tributes would need to eat and I had an advantage.
