Semifinals: An Image Is Worth A Thousand Words

The night life is  beautiful tonight; the calm after the storm, quite literally. The moon  tonight is a slim crescent, decorated with the stars, the faces of the  dead once again in the sky.

Quinn Wright and Megan Clarke.

The earth begins to spin  once again, as the remaining tributes roll west. Europe, home of the  arts, lies all around them. The Alps are cold nearby, and yet the  Atlantic Ocean warms up the climate a bit. Before you stands a museum;  The Louvre.

"Come in," a voice  beckons, yet there is no face nearby. You obey, walking into the  building, and before you stands Fillius. "In case any of you were  planning on attacking me, don't. I'm surrounded by an electric current  strong enough to take down a horse. I just had to be here to see this in  person."

You look ahead, to a  painting which instantly catches your eye, triggering a feeling in you.  "This image was specifically made to get a reaction from you. I really  do hope you enjoy it, or at least give us something to enjoy watching."

-Below in the comments  are each of your pictures. You are to write an entry influenced by this  image. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS A LITERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IMAGE. These  are made to get a reaction and provoke a certain feeling/memory from  your tribute.

-Word Limit: Have you  ever heard the expression an image is worth a thousand words? We'll be  texting that: this entry MUST be a thousand words (though I will except  950-1050)

-You must not kill  anyone, you may if you want, but kills do not matter. Neither do scores.  At the end of this task, I will give a bye to the two best entries FOR  THIS TASK. Nothing other than the entries for this task will be  considered.
