Physical Description:  Conner is incredibly small for his age, looking more like an 11 year old  than a 13 year old. He always gets complimented on his bright blue  eyes. His dirty blonde hair is cut short. He is almost always smiling,  although it isn't a true smile. He is short for his age, although  undergoing a growth spurt and is nearing average height. He only ways  eighty pounds, being grossly underweight with limbs like twigs. That  being said, he has the build of a soccer player (although he hasn't  played an organized sport for three years) and is a fast runner.

Personality: Conner is  always smiling, covering up his constant sadness. He is very witty,  which he typically uses to insult his classmates (particularly those  with an inflated ego). He is fairly shy but is well known throughout his  school due to his intelligence. He is friendly to the people that he  knows, but doesn't make new friends easily. If he is in a crowd of  people he doesn't know, he will wander around like a lost puppy singing  to himself or lean against a wall and read a book. He is intelligent and  has a near photographic memory.

Background: Conner is  from an average (if above average in regards to wealth) American family.  He has two siblings, two loving parents, two dogs (which he absolutely  adores) and a cat. Ever since his friend died 6 months ago after being  hit by a car, he has been sad all the time. He tries not to mope about  it though, instead being a shoulder to cry on for most of his friends.  He has one or two close friends that, thankfully, aren't in the Games  with him.
