Task Five: Home Is Where The Screen Is

When the third night  arrives in the arena, the moon is nothing more than a thin crescent. The  stars shine bright through the sky, and for the third time, the faces  of the dead appear in the sky.

Wren Williams, Clarissa Lotta, Alexandro Martinez, Magdalena Lucha, Zara Ephram.

There are only ten of you left.

For the third time, the  globe begins to spin. This time, it travels to the east, sending the  tributes west. The new continent is covered in small pockets of forests,  mostly eucalyptus trees. Herbs cover the ground in several places,  though it is impossible to know whether or not they are safe to eat.

Royale's face appears in the sky.

"Welcome, tributes, to  Oceanea!" Royale announces, a warm smile sent in your direction - a  greeting Frigus and Hellvetica hadn't bothered to give."I know these  past few days haven't been kind to you: you've fought, been dehydrated,  and barely slept a wink! Which is why I hope that what I've devised for  you today will be much more pleasant."

You look to your allies - or lack thereof - and they look as puzzled as you.

"We have begun  interviewing your family and friends back home," Royale explains, and  smiles lighten the faces of several tributes. "And, as a reward, I have  decided to broadcast them in the sky for you, in order to give you a  break."

And, just as quickly as he appeared, the only Gamemaker who has been kind to you vanishes.

The Task:

-You must watch the  interviews of your loved ones. There must be three different loved ones.  At least one must be a friend, and at least one must be a family  member.

-Each interview should last between 400-500 words, and the task itself may not be longer than 2000 words.

-You MAY NOT kill ANYBODY. I want to see what happens to the rankings when kills don't bias the scores.

-The same awards will be available.

-The same penalties will be handed out (-1 for handing in the two hours before its due, -2 for last entry)

-Three people will be up for votes. Two will die, leaving us with our eight Quarterfinalists.

-Failing to hand in will result in being out up for votes instantly, regardless of sponsor benefits.

-Due Tuesday at 8 PM EST
