Task Three - When Beavers Strike

The sky is beautiful  over the sea; the moon is full tonight, and every star you've ever seen -  and a few new ones - are gathered over your head. They almost seem to  form the faces of the dead; you only realize they do when the anthem  rings.

Suddenly, the ground  itself seems to spin. For a moment, fear fills you, as you spin over the  ocean, though you are moving so fast that you don't have time to sink.  You are incredibly dizzy. And then the spinning stops, and you find  yourself on a new island. The coniferous trees and cold prick your skin,  and the cold somehow manages to burn it.

After a walk which - although only a few hours - seems like forever, the weather gets softer. Cedar trees grow everywhere.

Frigus appears in the sky.

"Oh, hello tributes! I  wish I didn't see you there; you somewhat ruin the... beauty... of my  creation," he sneers, glaring, though quickly pulls himself into a  smile. "Oh well, I guess we'll only have to put up with you all for a  short while. Then you'll be out of our hair... permanently."

Somewhere in the  distance, a loud roar can be heard. "It seems as if my little pet has  heard you. Don't worry, he's completely dangerous and bloodthirsty. Your  deaths will most definitely be entertaining."

Trees fall left and  right, as a gigantic beast approaches you. Its tail resembles a mace -  and probably has the same effect as one - and its brown fur smells of  death, blood, and rotting carcasses. When it opens its mouth, you barely  notice the awful smell of its breath, because the sight of its teeth  captivates you. They are massive and seem to be able to chop through  diamond itself. Doubtless they could tear through you like butter. Only  one animal has teeth like this.

Beaver.

"Welcome to Canada," Frigus smirks.
