Dark Horse: This award  goes to the tribute that lasted a fair amount longer than many  predicted, starting off low on the list and gradually improving to the  point where they made it all the way to the final seven. Congratulations  to Quinn Wright (AnderaGNovak)!

Best Entry: This award  goes to the only entry to actually get a twelve that didn't come from a  sponsor benefit in my entire career as a Gamemaker: Stereotypical  Hollywood Scam, Pippino D'Amore (katniss-everdeen)!

Best Name: Clearly this  author knows how to target her audience. Giving the last name of a Les  Misérables character to a Gamemaker who has the title of a Les  Misérables song as their username is smart planning indeed.  Congratulations to Céline Evalana-Fiona Pontmercy (Clove_Thénardier)!

Best Quote: I believe  this is the quote that most likely would sum up the reaction of all of  us if we got reaped into the Hunger Games at the very moment, and at the  very least, it made me chuckle every time I read it. The best quote of  the Writer Games: World Edition is "I won't even get to see Catching  Fire in theatres." – Megan Clarke (MagmaKepner)

Best Alliance: Three of  these four tributes made it all the way to the semi-finals, and two of  them made their way to the finals. Congratulations to Clarissa Lotta (Fearless1830), Aleksandr Privet (MusicIsMySoul), Emily Anderson (ScrapbookLove), and Pippino D'Amore (katniss-everdeen)!

Best Country: Both  tributes from this country managed to make it all the way to the finals.  Congratulations to the United States of America – Emily Anderson (ScrapbookLove), Conner Stansfield (TheDarkHorse)! (Note: This is the best country for the games, NOT for real life.)

Most Difficult  Elimination: Well, you know it's difficult to break a tie when you have  to flip a coin to choose which tribute moves on to finals. Could you  have made it any easier? Yes. Did you? No. So thank you for bringing  your uniqueness and talent, Perdu Pion (CrocodileRocker)!

Best Character: This  award goes to the Russian drunk who decided to bring vodka as a district  token (brilliant move, by the way). Although dying in the semi-finals,  he constantly brought in new characterization and a fatherly aspect to  him, as well as teaching us about poor baby Rose... I almost cried over a  few of these entries, which is saying something because I don't cry over  writing. Congratulations to Aleksandr Privet (MusicIsMySoul)!
