First, I would like to say that this chapter, in no way, is meant to make fun of or demean people who have been sexually assaulted or abused.

Secondly, this chapter is based around true events that have happened.

Now, getting into the chapter.

Tw: sexual assault, rape, suicidal thoughts, cutting

They say, in the U.S. alone, one in three women get sexually abused, or raped, along with one in six men. Those are high statistics, but you never think that you'd be one of them until you are.

Peter just wishes he was smart enough to see the signs. The clinginess, the constant need to know where he was and what he was doing every second of the day. The want of him to skip school to go to their house instead. The way they only wanted to talk about sex. The way they would freak out if he didn't respond right away. If he knew that it would turn out as it did, Peter would have run. But he didn't.

They loved each other, they were inseparable. Never in a million years would anyone assume that they would hurt Peter in this way, which is why he suffered in silence.

The day that it happened was normal, at first. Peter woke up, got ready for the day, texted them, then went to school. By the time that lunch rolled around, his phone was blown up.

******: I love you!

******: Do you love me?

******: Why aren't you responding?

******: I want you with me so bad

******: Pete?

******: Are you breaking up with me?

******: If you are, I understand

******: I'm a mess and nobody will ever love me

******: And I'm so fat and ugly too

******: I want to die so bad

******: You should come over after school if you're not breaking up with me, so I can see your pretty face

Peter couldn't bring himself to respond more than

I'll be there.

Oh, how he wished that those three words were never sent, or that he let himself ignore the messages.

After school, he found himself walking to their house. The walk was peaceful, and Peter was coming to terms with the fact that he probably won't be going out as Spider-man. Peter could make a pretty well-educated guess that he would be there all night.

If he had known the events that were about to go down, he would have turned around and just went home.

Time passes by quickly when you're not looking forward to something. Peter knows that now. He was on the doorstep.

One knock.

Two knocks.

The door opened.

"Hi! Come in," almost as if nothing happened. So he was sitting on their bed, shoulders hunched. They were sitting next to him.

Probably planning what to do.

It was awkward. Then, before Peter knew anything else, they were on top of him.

"I don't want to do anything like this," Peter explicitly said. They ignored him. They touched him and used him. He had said no. He looked them in the eye and said NO. Why didn't they understand WHAT NO MEANT?

It meant to stop. It meant that he wasn't happy with what was going to happen. No. Means. No.

And now, nobody knows. Not May, not Tony. Only Ned, MJ, and Shuri. They all vowed not to tell anyone until he was ready but none of them knew how to deal with it.

Their once touchy-feely friend jerked away at the slightest touch. Their once down to Earth friend constantly stared off into space. Their once happy go lucky friend was depressed. Their once life loving friend wanted to DIE.

And they didn't know what to do, other than watch. It was heartbreaking.

"I think you should tell someone," MJ had said gently, after finding the scars that lined his wrists. Peter swallowed heavily.

"I can't" he whispered. His three friends looked for an explanation.

"They'll think I'm faking it," tears gathered in his eyes and MJ cursed herself for bringing up the topic.

"How could they think you're faking this? You're not you Peter, we want to help," Ned counseled gently.

"Please," Shuri pleaded with her friend.

"I'll talk to dad," Peter murmured before rolling over and going to sleep for the night.

Peter never did tell his dad. In fact, Tony found out in a completely different way. He was dropping clothes off in Peter's room when he saw the light of the laptop. Peter was asleep at the desk. Tony glanced at the screen.

'How to help with the aftermath of a sexual assault victim'

Tony's heart dropped. It made perfect sense now. The way he suddenly began hiding in his room. The way his appetite changed drastically. The way his entire self changed. Tony wanted to kick himself for being so blind. Instead, he cried as he ran a hand through Peter's curls.

Peter's eyes opened to meet his, then to his computer, then back to Tony.

They talked all night, and for the first time in months, Peter fell asleep in Tony's arms.

He got the help and support he needed from his friends and family to make a recovery of the events. Though he'll never be the same, at least he can act like he is.

This was hard. Please, guys, if you're going through something like this, tell someone. Don't be like me, because it's not worth it. Get yourselves some help. I know it's hard, dear God it is so hard to say that you got hurt like that, but then you can get help.

I love you all so so much. <3
