This song hit me with inspiration.

Tony loved Peter, from the day he was born and forward. Looking back, Tony smiled at all the fond memories he had with Peter.

Taking over this town, they should worry

Peter was 3. He was small for his age, making Tony fiercely protective of him. Which is why the press only knew about Peter, and never saw him. Until one day Tony walked out to a press conference with a child on his hip. Everyone was dead silent as they soaked up the cuteness of the toddler. Peter was grinning out at the crowd of people. He began to wave happily, eyes sparkling with joy, making a couple of reporters coo.

Tony had sat in a chair and they were about halfway through the conference. Peter was sitting on his lap, listening intently to all of the questions thrown at his dad. The next day, Peter's picture was everywhere, taking the hearts of countless mothers and fathers. Even people who hated children had to admit that Peter was cute.

But these problems aside I think I taught you well

The interns at the tower know Peter well at this point. He was 4. He loved to help everyone as much as he could. Though, he really was only there to destress the interns (don't tell him that).

There was an intern crying at their desk one day and Peter went up to him.

"Why are you crying?" he asked gently. So, the intern told Peter that he was stressed about his work. Peter hummed.

"Maybe I could help you? Daddy says I'm smart," Tony had been proud that Peter was willing to help everyone.

That we won't run, and we won't run, and we won't run

Peter was a fun-loving child. He was never afraid of a challenge. Backing down wasn't a thing he did. Especially when it came to something he cared about. Which was why Tony shouldn't be surprised when the energetic toddler woke him up that morning with a fully prepared speech on why they should have waffles for breakfast.

"-Plus, we'd both b- uhh get something out of it cuz we'd have a meal together. So, can we have waffles pleeease?" Tony knew that all Peter had to do was slightly indicate that he wanted waffles and he would get them, but he'd entertain the idea that Peter had.

"Hmm well, since you made such a compelling speech, I don't see how we couldn't have waffles," Tony smiled.

"Yayy! Waffles! C'mon dad, let's go make them!" Peter ran from the room cheering. Pepper chuckled from beside Tony.

"That's definitely your son,"

And in the winter night sky ships are sailing

Peter had anxiety. It was obvious that he did. There wasn't much that anyone could do to help it, but Tony knew how. It was all about senses for Peter. Which is why the docks were the best place for him. Which is where they were at that time.

Peter was in his coat, hat, and gloves as he peered over the railing to watch the boats. Every breath he took, steam emitted from his mouth and nose. Some of his hair couldn't fit in the hat and was left ruffled about on his forehead. Tony had an arm slung around his shoulder as they watched the boats float away.

Looking down on these bright blue city lights

Peter's eyes lit up as he ran through the gardens. The sky was dark and stars twinkled. Peter was a night owl, there's not much to it. Peter loved spending his nights running through the gardens and climbing on the trees and structures. He especially loved it at night. He would climb the tallest tree and look out at the city as much as he could. The lights of the busy place never ceased to amaze him.
