Author: katniss-everdeen
Name: Aries Fission
Age: Sixteen
Sex: Male
District: Thirteen
Physical Description: Aries is only too aware that he is nothing special to look at. Even in a District where physical appearance is the lowest of priorities, he is unable to stand out. His hair is hardly the cliché 'raven' black and is instead faded with a family history of blonde to make it appear almost faded. His eyes are neither piercing blue or a sly green, forced into a dull grey. With the lack of sunlight, his skin is a pale white that looks as if it could be wounded by the slightest touch. His uniform hangs off his frail frame, a combination of meagre rations and hard work. However, even though he secretly admires the bright colours of the Capitol, Aries forces himself to smile and that is what sets him apart from the other inhabitants of District Thirteen.
Personality: The complete opposite of his quiet, intelligent twin, Aries has a love for making people happy and having fun. He is still prepared to do his fair share - often, the general case of sibling rivalry means he often tries his hardest to out-do his brother - and does not have anything against Panem or District Thirteen's strict laws. He would never go out of his way to break a rule, often scared of any sort of authority figures. However, nothing ever stops Aries from trying to cheer himself and his brother up with a story, a bad joke or a smile.
Background: Aries has always been the exact opposite of his brother. Whilst Ashley was always the smart and brave twin, he lacked Aries' determination to follow rules. Ashley would dodge his schedule, argue with Peace-Keepers and often end up arrested. Aries would spend more of his free time than he wanted in the Head Peace -Keeper's office trying to come up with excuses for his twin.
Family:
Darcy Fission [Mother - 54]
Morgan Fission [Father - 55]
Ashley Fission [Brother - 16]Reaped
In keeping with the twist, the Reaping was a torture for the entire family. Instantly, the twins knew that their parent would never hold their own against some of the younger, trained tributes of earlier Districts and therefore, the 'honour' fell to them. Ignoring his brother's protests, Aries decided to compete on the basis that his brother always on trouble and that the Game-Makers would probably target him.Strengths:
1] Disciplined - Aries grew up in District Thirteen, where failure is not an option. He is expected to fight and win, and Aries knows that's how it has to go.
2] Law Abiding - not exactly a strength in the conventional terms, but it means that Aries will always be on good terms with Game-Makers and other authority figures.
3] Strong - sure, he might be weak compared to Career tributes, but working in factories and other parts of District Thirteen, mainly lifting, means he is far stronger than he looks.Weaknesses:
1] Disciplined - although a strength, Aries knows he is expected to fight. Even if the best tactic is to run, he is certain he has to be like District Thirteen's most famous Victor and kill.
2] Intelligence - Aries is not the smart twin, and will often make stupid decisions.
3] Loneliness - Aries is not used to being alone. He is accustomed to having a partner and someone to watch his back.Weapon: Anything with a blade, like a sword or knife. Aries isn't trained with anything anyway.
Token: His brother's District Thirteen identity card. Aries was not sure about taking it since it's illegal to be in possession of someone else's identity card, but Ashley insisted.
