"Do you like putting yourself in danger?"

"I might be able to lower the tomb spell long enough for you to get in there and grab the moonstone from Katherine," Bonnie announces and my eyes light up with interest

"I might be able to lower the tomb spell long enough for you to get in there and grab the moonstone from Katherine," Bonnie announces and my eyes light up with interest.

"How? It took both of you and grams last time and look what happened to her," Jeremy points out with concern, shooting Bonnie a firm glance.

"I'm well aware of what happened, I learned a few new things. How will you get it?" she reassures my brother with a harsh tone and he avoids her gaze.

"She hasn't been feeding. She's weaker. We're not," Stefan points out and I nod my head.

"You wouldn't be underestimating her, would you?" Bonnie asks, cocking an eyebrow at the younger Salvatore.

"It's a plan. Is it perfect? What plan is?" Damon scoffs out, swirling around the bourbon in his glass.

"Let me do it. I got my ring. I can get in, get out, no spells necessary," my brother speaks up determined and I glare at him harshly.

"Gee thanks, you 16 year old child. Why didn't we think about that? Why are you even here?" Damon questions him harshly, clenching his sharp jaw.

"I hate to say this, but Damon is right. My answer is absolutely not," I speak up, grimacing with disgust and rapidly bobbing my head. Jeremy clenches his fist and rolls his eyes with annoyance, walking away from us.

"Does anyone know where Elena is?" I ask curiously, my eyes darting around the living room and Stefan's eyes widen with worry. I glance down my watch and inhale sharply. School's been over for a few hours and she should be home by now.

"Funny that you bring that up, Rose has been missing all day too," Damon speaks up, lifting up his head with a surprised expression.

"Stefan you go on with Bonnie and Jeremy. Damon and I will find my sister," I assure him and he nods his head, leaving the house with Jeremy and Bonnie. Suddenly Damon's phone starts to ring and he digs it out of his pocket, answering the call.

His jaw slightly drops open and I step closer, trying to hear the call. "I'm on the way," he says, before hanging up.

"We've got to get to Richmond, now," Damon demands, grabbing the keys from his leather jacket and grabbing onto my hand. I follow Damon out of the house and into his blue car.

"Why the hell are Elena and Rose in Richmond?" I scoff out as we drive over Wickery bridge, heading out of town. Damon keeps one hand on the steering wheel and glances over at me, shrugging his shoulders.

"Elena sure does seem to cause a lot of trouble in and out of Mystic Falls," Damon comments, letting out a tiny chuckle and I nod my head. We pull up to an apartment complex and I climb out of the car.

I follow Damon inside the building and he swings open a door to reveal Elena and Rose standing in an apartment.

"Do you like putting yourself in danger?" I ask through gritted teeth, storming up to my sister with anger pumping through my veins. Elena knits her eyebrows together with confusion and gazes into my eyes.

"You called them?" Elena asks with shock, glaring back at Rose.

"I'm sorry, Elena," Rose lowers her head, a frown forming on her face.

"Come on. We're leaving," Damon demands and Elena shakes her head with denial. I open my mouth to say something, but the doors burst open with a loud thud.

Three men storm inside with serious expression on their faces. They're probably vampires that Klaus sent to get my sister. Damon is quick to step in front of Elena and I, protecting us.

"We're here to meet the doppelganger," one of them announces, standing in the doorway.

"Thank you for coming," Elena greets them with kindness, trying to walk over to them. I stand in front of her and shoot her a harsh glare.

"Don't move," I demand, grabbing onto her wrist and holding her back.

"There's nothing here for you," Damon announces, cocking his head to the side. Suddenly the man in the back lets out a grunt and collapses on the ground. A gasp escapes my lips and An older man with brown hair stands behind him and whooshes into the room.

"I killed you. You were dead," Damon states with confusion and my eyes widen. This must be Elijah, one of the Originals. Rose rushes out of the room and I breath heavily, my chest pounding.

"For centuries now," Elijah points out, reaching into the two men's chests and ripping out their hearts. My heart drops at the sight of two bloody hearts in his hand, the crimson liquid dripping onto the carpet.

Elijah disappears out of the room, leaving three dead bodies on the ground. "We're leaving," Damon announces, leading the way out of the room.

Damon walks Elena and I up the porch. Elena walks inside the house, slamming the door behind her and my lips curl down into a frown. I turn around and face Damon, admiring his features for a moment.

"I'm worried about her," I admit and Damon's eyes soften as they meet mine. He steps towards me, towering over me and reaches out his large hand. His fingers sweep back a piece of my hair behind my ear and he rests the palm of his hand on my cheek.

The warmth rises in my face and I gulp. "I know. I won't let her do anything stupid," Damon reassures me and I bob my head.

"Thank you," I mumble underneath my breath.

"Goodnight, Sam," he speaks softly, his voice sending chills down my spine. I shoot him a tiny smile and watch as he walks down the porch and into his car.

My heart yearns for him...
