"What do you mean Elijah's gone?" I ask, sinking down in my figure. Stefan shoots Damon a glance and nudges his brother's shoulder.
"Elena, she stupidly took the dagger out of his body, and she's disappeared with him," Damon complains and I cross my arms over my chest.
"You've done enough stupid things that don't even compare to what Elena did. You have no room to talk, Salvatore. I'm sure she's safe with Elijah," I reassure both of the brothers and Stefan runs his hands over his face.
Suddenly Stefan's phone starts to ring and he answers the call. His eyebrows furrow and his eyes slightly widen.
"Yeah, I'm on the way, Jenna," he says before hanging up the call. My palms become sweaty and I snap my head towards him.
"What is it?" I ask with concern, leaning forward.
"Klaus, he's at your house with your Aunt. Both of you stay here, I'll be back," Stefan explains, whooshing out of the house. I open my mouth to say something, but I can't seem to find the words.
"Damn it, Klaus is going to tell Jenna everything," I curse out, clenching my fists.
"Why does it matter? It's not like you and Elena planned on telling her anytime soon," Damon scoffs out and I punch him in his shoulder. He winces out quietly and I roll my eyes with annoyance.
"We were trying, but so many different things kept happening," I sigh out.
The door swings open and Jenna stands there with tears in her eyes. I leap up from the couch and rush over to her, wrapping my arms around her. She buries her head into my shoulder for a moment and my whole body relaxes.
"Is it true?" she mumbles out, her voice trembling and I clench my jaw. She pulls away from me, her hands shaking and I gulp.
"Yes," I lower my head with shame and I glance back at Damon. He gives me a reassuring nod and stands up, walking out of the living room.
"Why didn't you tell me?!" she raises her voice, tears slipping down her face.
"I didn't want you involved, neither did Elena. It was too dangerous," I mumble out and she nods her head.
"I'm scared, Sam," Jenna admits, sinking down in her figure and letting out a quiet sob. I lead her into the living room and help her lay down on the couch.
"I know, but I'll keep you safe. I promise," I mutter, placing a blanket over her body. I gently run my fingers through her soft hair and take a tissue, wiping away her tears. Jenna sniffles quietly and closes her eyes.
The door swings open and Elijah and Elena walk inside along with Stefan. "What's going on?" I ask curiously.
"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse," Elijah announces, tidying up his clean suit.
"Elena said that the sun and moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus," Stefan speaks up, folding his hands together.
"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting, but if he breaks it...he'll be a true hybrid," Elijah's words send chills down my spine and I sigh deeply.
"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today with Bonnie," Damon explains with a firm tone, walking inside the living room. I perk up my head and meet his blue, glistening eyes.
"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying," Elena retorts harshly, shaking her head with denial.
"I'll write her a great eulogy," he replies sarcastically and my sister shoots him a firm glare.
"Absolutely not, Damon. I won't let anyone else who's trying to help us die," I state and he frowns widely.
"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asks, leaning forward with interest burning in his forest green eyes.
"The ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know. The moonstone. A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each," Elijah explains and I chew on my bottom lip.
"And where do I fit into it?" Elena questions, raising an eyebrow.
"The final of the ritual. Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelganger to the point of your death," he speaks clearly and I gulp, glancing over at my sister with concern.
"I guess we better start preparing for this thing," I mumble out, sinking down onto the couch with my sister.
