Chapter 94

4th August 2023

Shawn came home at 1am and the sound of talking of a female echoed in the house.

I jogged down the stairs and at the bottom I saw Hailey standing there. "Hey?" I said

"Oh my god. Han, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you. Haileys staying over tonight and then I'm going to show her around Tomorrow because she hasn't been to Canada for a long time." Shawn closes his eyes

All I could do was nod. He didn't even have enough respect to tell me? "How long is she staying?"

"Until my birthday." He smiled

"Well then..." I exhaled "Hey." I went over to hug her "I haven't seen you in such a long time." I laughed

"I know, how are you?" She asked me

"I'm really good," I lied. My relationship is basically falling apart. "how are you?"

"I'm good."

"Let's go to the living room." Shawn said interrupting us.

We went to the living room and sat down on the sofa.

I kinda just sat to the side as they joked around. I couldn't bare him talking to another girl and I was getting jealous. "I'm going to bed." I said out of nowhere

"Night." Shawn said before instantly turning his head back to Hailey

"Night." She smiled softly at me.

I sat in my bed listening to shawn and Hailey laughing their heads off and the conversation echoing in the entire hours.

I was in the bathroom washing my face. I rested my head on the marble counter and thought about everything.

Instant tears fell from my face. It's as if they knew what I was doing. As soon as I let out my first gasp, they started laughing. "Oh my god." I breathed heavily "calm down Hannah." I told myself. "Calm down."

After crying I dragged myself down to bed and forced myself to block out the noise of Shawn and Hailey.

I couldn't lay down by myself.

I went down to Nathan's room "I'm so sorry." I picked him up with his blankets and held him to my chest

I couldn't sleep I needed something to distract myself and I knew if I had one of the babies next to me that would block out the noise.

Waiting for shawn to come up was torture.

What felt like hours later shawn came into the room. "What's Nate doing here?" He asked cuddling up to him

I acted like I was sleeping by turning shutting my eyes and not flinching once we crawled into the bed.

I turned my back to him and pulled my sheets over my head.
