Chapter 98

I stumbled over my feet as I walked to the living room. I didn't know what to do with myself. I felt completely useless. I was no longer a girlfriend. It was so weird to think because the label isn't there anymore when it has for over two years.

It didn't feel real. I felt like I was dreaming.

I sat on the sofa and put my head to my knees and cried. "Don't cry mama." Nathan put his hand on my back after climbing up. I put him on my lap and bought him to my chest.

He stayed silent as I cried. Skylar crawled over and balanced herself by holding herself up on the sofa. She put her hand on my foot. "Give mummy kisses." Nathan said to her and she bent down to kiss my shin.

"I love you." I said to both of them

Nathan held skyalrs hand and try to bring her up. I helped him out and put skylar next to me. She rested her head on my stomach. "Don't be sad." Nathan said

The doorbell rang but I really didn't want to get it until it rang the third time.

I saw avia standing at the front door. I quickly put my arms around her and sobbed into her chest. "Oh babe." She said "Let it all out." She stroked my head

"How did you know?" I tried to catch my breath

"Shawn told me."

"I miss him. You know how they say, you don't know what you've got until it's gone."

"You knew what you had, and you loved the fuck out of him but you didn't think that you would ever loose him." She put her hands on my shoulders "you know what this means?"

"You get to stay in my house without being scared on walking in on shawn and I?" I playfully rolled my eyes

"That, and you, me, and the kids going to binge watch random cartoons, stay in our pyjamas all day. And we are going to get loads of take out." She suggested with a smirk

"They are going to get over weight."

"Too late!!" She ran to the living room and told the kids about her plan and Nathan cheered because skylar didn't know what was going on.

I went to the living and saw avia with Nathan on her lap "good thing that you've still got your pyjamas on." She smiled "and you've had breakfast?" She asked

He nodded his head frantically "Well then, mummy's got ice, let's go get some." She took his hand and I sat on the sofa.

"And you need to get in the shower because you look rough." She laughed

"I've only been single for like an hour." I joked before it hit me "I'm single" I said out loud "I-"

"Get in the shower, you'll feel better. I think shawn phoned sam as well and he's going to meet us here and join us."

"Okah." I nodded my head

I hopped into the shower.

the hot water poured down my body. I felt so numb. My tears fell down my face. I faced the shower and started to wash my face.

I got out with a towel wrapped around my body. I brushed my teeth trying to feel more fresh. "Mummy!!!!" Sam came running with with sky in his hands

I turned back and cracked a smile at them but then it instantly went away. "We are all waiting for you downstairs. Avia told me to come get you." Sam quietly said

"Let me just out sort myself out and put some clothes on. I'll meet you downstairs ."

I went to my draw and I I caught Shawns smell rush up my nose. The first thing I saw was a few of his clothes that he left.
