Chapter 103

6th September 2023

I sat on the sofa with avia and camila because shawn had gone out with the kids to get a few ingredients that I needed to make dinner later on.

"So tell us everything that happened!" Camila jumped once she heard the front door close indicating Shawn had left the house

"So, i was sitting down in the living room, I went upstairs to check on the kids and as I was walking down stairs there were knocks on the door. I opened it and he was standing there soaking wet because it was raining. I pulled him into the house we hugged and he cried into my shoulder. I told him to go to the Living room and I got him a towel so he could dry himself off. He said it was freezing and I went to check and the heater was down. I told him, got us a glass of wine and we spoke to hours. We went upstairs and it was 1am and he tried to go into the guest bedroom and I told him not to because it was messy in there which I lied about I just wanted to sleep next to him. Then we went to bed." I explained to them then smiled brightly after finishing my story

"You had a after sex glow when we FaceTimed, you guys didn't have sex?" Avia smirked

"We did." I playfully rolled my eyes saying what they wanted to hear

"Awwwwwwwwhhh," camila put her hand on her heart and furrowed her eyebrows "How was it? Was it soft or really rough."

"It was soft. It was cute." I started to go all shy

"Aaaaawwwhhh, you guys made love." Avia said

"Stttoopoo.." i laughed and shoved my face into a pillow

"Do you think he's going to actually put effort in now?" Avia asked

"Yeah, he knows what it's like when I'm not there and how it makes both of us and the kids unhappy. If he genuinely cares he won't screw up again." I explained before shawn came into the living room

Nathan ran to Avia and camila straight away and Shawn put skylar in my arms. I looked at shawn and he bent down to kiss my lips.

I looked at his left cheek and saw a scratch "what happened?" I rubbed the raw scratch on his cheek with my thumb

"Skylar accidentally scratched my cheek" he said before seeing avia and camila "hello camila, hello avia." He gave them both hugs before they said hi back.

I looked at skylar and said "say mama."

She tried and tried but it then it would turn into screams because she would get frustrated. Shawn took her from my hands and rubbed their noses "say dada."

She tried but she would end up screaming "nooo, I want mama to be her first word. You got Nathan to say dada first." I frowned and Shawn shrugged his shoulders.

"Dada." Skylar said

My jaw dropped and I screamed. "OH MY GOD!!!!" I turned to shawn who was as shocked at me

"Well done mamas!!!" He bought her cheek to his and squeezed them together "I told you she was a daddy's girl."

"Oh, we all knew shawn. Trust me" avia said
