Shawn had been away on tour for five days and they were a few of the hardest days I have ever had and it's really made me appreciate single mothers even more than I already did prior to shawn leaving.
I took my laptop off of my bedside table and put it on my lap to face time shawn.
It was currently 5 in the morning for me and I put on an alarm so I could face time shawn a few hours he came off stage since it was 12 for him.
The phone rung three times and he answered pretty much immediately. "Hey Hunny." He said
"Hey shawn." I smiled at him
"What are you doing up?" I saw him go deeper into his covers
"I wanted to speak to you." I gave him a cheesy smile and he done the same
"How are the babies?" He asked me. He still had wet hair because he had just come out of the shower
"They are really good. I've got sky sleeping next to me" As soon as I said that Nathan came in rubbing his eyes. I looked at him and opened my arms for him to come in to.
"Hi daddy." He smiled at the screen while squinting because of the brightness.
I simmer down the brightness a bit. "The kids really miss you" I pulled a sad face to the camera as Nathan quietly spoke over me to shawn
"Miss you." Nathan furrowed his eyebrows
"I miss you too." Shawn blew a kiss "I miss all three of you."
We both went silent "you tired?" Shawn asked
"Nope, I'm not going to be able to sleep with both of them next to me anyways." I joked
"Put your laptop down and go to sleep. I'll end the call." Shawn said "it looks like Nathan has already fallen asleep"
I looked down and saw Nathan sleeping. He looked exactly like shawn when he slept it was crazy. "He looks exactly like you when he sleeps." I chuckled as I moved my hair away from his face.
I put my laptop on the bed and spoke to shawn softly as I had my back to the kids. "Your boobs look amazing" Shawn smirked
I looked down and saw them and looked back up at him and laughed. "You perv." I joked as he laughed.

As the night went on shawn and I had both fallen asleep on FaceTime.
I woke up and saw it was 8 in the morning and both of the kids were still asleep. I saw shawn still on the screen. His lips were slightly parted, with soft snores leaving them and his curly hair hung from his head and covered his forehead.
I cracked a smile before ending the call on shawn.
