I was shocked when I jerked awake from a nightmare of Jace dying. But even more shocked to find out I had fallen asleep. I tried staying awake to see him to makesure he's okay, but thats just me being my always worried self, exhaustion must had taken over.
I lean over and grab my phone seeing that its already 2pm. I hurry out of bed and get ready in a cute outfit. I haven't got properly ready in a while so I decided I might as well then go and ask Klaus what happened with Jace.

Leaving my room I let the voices of my family lead me to the Kitchen where I would most likely find my dad.
But something was different this time.
"Elle!" Aunt Freya yells running towards me and hugging me out of nowhere. Her girlfriend stands only a few feet away. She stands there awkwardly so I pull her in with us.
"Im so happy your back. Oh yes we can decorate your room. Aunt Beks will have a blast." I say wiping tears that fall. She gives me a sorrowful look.
"I'm sorry Elle... but we have a lead and we're just stopping by til 4pm before we have to leave to L.A." My heart drops but quickly lifts back up after all this time they're finally onto something.
"Where's Nik?" I say and she smiles turning to get coffee.
"He's in the backyard." I turn confused but go anyways. Uncle Nik never went out there.
I slide the glass door open and follow the noises comming from the mazed garden. Fully expecting to see Klaus painting im shocked to see that he's sword fighting with Jace. Not in an angry way but a fun way. They both laugh as Nik tosses Jace to the floor with a light push.
"You need to use your magic mate. Especially if your gonna ever win one on me." Nik says and I smile. Jace looked a lot better from the last time I saw him.
"I need someone to help me practice my magic. Its all pretty new. I felt magic on... Freya I think it is. Maybe she could help." Nik wipes sweat from his forehead. It is unbelievable hot today.
"Freya and Keelin are leaving today. But I have a feisty Bennett who'll gladly help out." I smirk he always speaks for other people.
"Maybe you should ask first before assuming everyone follows your orders?" I say crossing my arms. They both turn.
"Elle I was waiting for when you were gonna speak up." Nik says and I stick my tongue out at him.
"Jace... is everything alright." I say moving my attention to him. He doesn't say anything he only hugs me tightly. But when he stands up straight causing my feet to hover over the ground being that he's so tall.
"Okay okay." Nik says pulling us apart. "Elle I want you to know that Jace will be staying here until further notice I dont want any funny business going on." Klaus says and I smile blushing.
