Aquarius Neptulus - POV;
"Ring, ring, ring, ring. Ring, ring, ring, ring. You have reached the phone of Autora Neptulus. I'm sorry, I am not able to take your call at the moment. Please leave a message and I will reach out to you as quickly as possible. Thank you."
I lay my smart phone onto my desk, having given up on my attempts to reach Aurora for today. I sighed worriedly before opening my diary and proceeding to jot down my thoughts into it.
"Princess, can I come in?" a somewhat high-pitched male voice called out alongside a series of knocks on my hotel room's door.
"You may," I responded. The door creaked open and a young boy, fifteen to be precise, entered sheepishly.
"Lady Usagi is looking for you and she isn't too happy. She says to tell you to find your way to her immediately," he informed me.
"Is that what you came here to tell me Kai?" I asked the brown-haired boy in an angry tone.
"Princess, please! Lady Usagi is doing her best to train us for the tournament! We have to stick with her!" he pleaded.
"We were doing just fine in training before she came!" I said firmly, "All she's done since getting the chance is act out of spite!"
"That's not true! She really cares about us and the clan!" he continued.
"Does she?! If that's the truth then why has she been playing down and convincing my father to ignore Aurora's disappearance?! Usagi has always hated Aurora and the fact that she was not only more powerful than her but also more capable of taking on the role of Advisor once I ascend to the title of Regulus! She's shown Aurora pure vitriol and hatred even though she always got back love! Aurora has been missing now for weeks upon weeks. No one has been able to get a hold of her and no one is listening to me when I say something is wrong because Usagi has downplayed it! Her greatest wish is for something to happen to Aurora!" I ranted. Kai lowered his head with saddened eyes, unsure of how to respond to my outburst.
"Aquarius, stop. You don't know any of that for certain. If you give Usagi a chance you'll see she means well," a girl muttered as she walked in behind Kai. In many ways she was my splitting image though I was quick to notice that my chest was slightly larger. Other than than however, it's easy to see how someone could mistake this girl for myself. There was good reason for this too as, although we were cousins, Isla's mother was my mother's twin sister and her father was my father's cousin.
"But I do know it for certain. I've seen the malice in her eyes towards Aurora for all these years and I refuse to work with such a wicked woman," I barked.
"Aquarius, you don't understand," Isla began.
"No, you don't understand! Aurora may as well be a sister to me and no one seems to care that she might be in danger!" I cried out.
The three of us stared at each other in silence for what seemed like an eternity before I spoke up, "I'm heading out for a while."
"What? Aquarius!" Isla called out.
"Don't follow me and be sure to tell Usagi that she can take it and shove it right up her pompous ass! Oh and Kai, she lied when she said dying your hair brown looks cool. It looks terrible so do yourself a favour and return it to blue," I spat before leaping out of the window.
Kai cringed as he watched the exchange before murmering to Isla, "A princess shouldn't be acting like that and saying those things."
"Agreed," Isla sighed, "Aquarius seems to be picking up one or two things from that brute of a girl, Indira Astra. Apparently the two knew each other from a long time ago and they've recently reconnected."
