Xyder Zephyr - POV;
"Why? Isn't that obvious? Attorney-at-law, Naomi Ailani is on the case!" the girl announced energetically as she shut the door and took a seat across the table infront of me.
"You're my lawyer? Wait... you were a lawyer?" I inquired.
"Yeah. I may have learned a fair amount of chemistry and alchemy from my mother but I'd spent alot of my time studying law as well. It seems I was some type of prodigy, or so they said. I got through education relatively quickly," she explained, "Mom always said that considering my tendency to argue with the other four, I would make a good lawyer so I took her joke seriously and went for it!"
"I... I see," I said quietly. She seemed to be expecting me to laugh but I didn't have it in me. Walking around the table to her side, I dropped to my knees and laid my forehead against the floor infront her feet as I muttered, "I am sorry for all that Zephyr has done to you and your family. I am sorry for what happened to your mother. I will do whatever is in my power to right these wrongs."
Naomi stood up, clearly shocked by my actions.
"Wait, please stand up. This isn't necessary," she stated.
"It is. I didn't take the opportunity to say this on the day of the attack and I let so much time pass. I must atone," I insisted.
"No really, Xyder. You and Evelynn aren't responsible and my siblings and I all see that now," she continued, "If anything, we would have all been killed if you and Evelynn didn't return to save us and for that we are truly grateful. What Zephyr did to our home still hurts but Zephyr did not kill our mother. It was the man calling himself Blaze along with the demon-tamer you battled. Incendio Zephyr, as I believe his name was, made it clear that he wasn't there to hurt us. Blaze on the other hand was there to kill us. I've been watching the tournament and Blaze seems to be pushing for victory. If you want to atone, Xyder, then put your faith in me. Let me get you out of this predicament and then go destroy Blaze in the tournaments!"
"That may be impossible now. We've already been disqualified," I told her as I looked up.
"Don't worry about that. You have more reason that just the tournament to go against Blaze right? I've heard a bit about your situation from Evelynn. Blaze has your friends and they're after your defeat right? Sid, Emiko and the others are getting filled in and they're on the lookout. We're building a case for you and we're gathering everything we can on Blaze. Once we have dirt on them we will take back your friends and take Blaze down with the law!" she proclaimed.
"I see," I murmured, standing on my feet and hugging her without much thought, "Thank you for believing in us Naomi!"
"Oh!" she squealed in surprise, almost freezing from my unexpected gesture, "Of- of course. Oh and about the tournament... leave it all up to me."

Evelynn Zephyr - POV;
"I'm so happy!" I wailed as I hugged Satella tightly.
"I am too!" she said between tears of joy.
"Naomi and her sisters are my angels from heaven!" I sniffled, "They're lights in the darkness! Goddesses descended to combat Devils!"
"Uh... Evelynn," Dagan muttered, trying to snap me out of my current state as Naomi returned to our room.
"I'm not all that amazing Evelynn," the blue-haired said awkwardly, hearing my claims.
"Waaaaaaaaah! I'm so glad!" I cried, lunging at her and hugging her as I buried my face in her... admittedly ample chest.
"Sorry about her... she's a bit... um..." Dagan tried to find words.
"No, no, it's okay," Naomi laughed, "I've kind of become accustomed to these siblings' affection. Xyder hugged me out of nowhere too."
