Dagan Zephyr - POV;

After Xyder's bold warning the entire Clan was thrown into disarray. It seemed that not even Lord Seraphim could prevent this information from leaking out. Our society was plunged into chaos as the people demanded answers. Regulus Zephyr eased their minds... or should I say threatened them into silence before swearing on his life that he had prepared a place for times such as this. Over the next two days he carried out a full scale operation, transporting all of the citizens to a distant, highly guarded location guarded along with the younger and older members of the clan who could offer some protection but still weren't fully capable in participating in a war such as this.

All the core members of the Clan's Council, including the elders, and members of the clan whom were capable of sufficiently weilding the elements stayed behind to join the stand against Xyder and the threat which he posed. With only hours left before the assault, Jay and the rest of Catherine's team split themselves up at key points in the region, taking a battalion which functioned under their guide so that they could adequately intercept any threat from anywhere.

Regulus Zephyr, greatly opposed to the Elders' adamant decisions to stay decided to take matters into his own hands on the day of reckoning and forcibly drag them to the shelter. He took Xyder's watch from Catherine and, seeing that atleast six hours remained on the timer, he seized his allies and departed to the safehouse with them. This way, he should have enough time to make it back before the battle commenced.

"Boom! Boom!"

One hour after Regulus Zephyr's departure, explosions rocked every corner of Zephyr City causing even the Earth beneath our feet to tremble. We stood up side by side in the yard of the mansion which had become our home as we watched our beloved land be engulfed by relentless flames, however we didn't so much as shed a tear. We expected this to happen and, most importantly, the people were all safe, hiding far away from this rampage.

"It's four hours too early," Fira grunted.

"Yes... but at the same time we couldn't have honestly expected him to be a gentleman about this," I added.

"Dagan, Alva, Fira, Rydia, Satella, Storm... prepare yourselves," Lady Catherine stated, "Xyder still hasn't shown his face. Currently a horde of humans are causing choas all across Zephyr City. It appears that Xyder's corruption has spread to thousands and he's sent them all to do his petty work. Jay and the others are doing their best to put them all down without harming them but their numbers are immense. Be alert. We don't know when or where Xyder will appe-"

"Oh man, how boring."

We all spun around to face the owner of the abrupt voice. Seated atop the roof of the building, happily throwing grapes into his mouth, was none other than Xyder himself.

"I was looking forward to the shrieks of despair and anguish that the common folk made when we slowly tore through town but you lot just had to ruin that for me," he moaned.

"Everyone has been taken to a safe place! That way we don't have to worry about them when we beat your ass into oblivion!" Fira barked.

"Ooh! Spicy! You sure talk a big game after being absolutely demolished the last time we saw each other," he grinned.

"We're not the same as we were back then. We've grown," Rydia backed up her friend.

"I can tell. I can see the flow of Elemental Energy in your bodies. It's awe-inspiring. Even so, I haven't been resting on my laurels the last five months. I've been evolving too. Here, have a taste of my true strength!" he responded as he snapped his fingers above his head. A wave of dark energy shot outwards in every direction passing over us and disappearing into the distance. We waited for a moment but nothing seemed to be happening. Even so, Xyder kept the smug smile on his face.
