Kath held onto Noah, trying to come around from unconsciousness and she slowly blinked, looking over to the stairs. She had to remind herself how to breathe, feeling a rising sense of panic and her grip on Noah tightened. The little boy slowly pulled away from his Mom, but she was still holding onto the back of his shirt - it was the only thing hiding her shaky hands.

"Mommy, can you get up?" Noah asked, his voice trembling. "Are you okay?" He was desperate and Kath could tell he was terrified. She could remember slipping, but then it was all a blur. She had no idea how much time had passed since she fell, she had no idea how long Noah had been so hysterical.

"I'm fine, monster... I-I'm fine." Kath went to simply sit up, but she gasped with pain and her hand went to her bump as she closed her eyes tightly. She'd never known a pain like it, she felt a huge pressure and tears were instantly streaming down her face as she slowly opened her eyes and saw what had happened.

Her waters had broken.

Dylan was on her way, six weeks early.

"Mommy?" Noah sobbed, standing beside her. He was terrified, seeing Kath in pain and only partly sat up on the floor.

"N-Noah, do you remember me and Daddy telling you how to call 911?" Kath choked out, trying to hide her want to just scream as she felt contractions, but she was trying to hide it from Noah. She couldn't stop crying, her body shaking. Her little girl was already a small baby and, at that moment, Kath knew that she was going to be premature too. Dylan was in danger from the fall and there was nothing Kath could do to save her and that was the most terrifying thing about it. Noah quickly nodded his head, a sob escaping his lips as Kath's body tensed and she let out a muffled whimper of pain.

"I remember, Mommy." He choked out and Kath nodded.

"G-Good boy... g-get Mommy's phone and call for an ambulance, baby, okay? P-Please?" She begged. Guilt was being dumped on her shoulders for making her son do something so important and terrifying, but she could barely hold herself up and her efforts were to go into breathing through the pain - it was hard for her to speak because of her rising sense of panic. She wanted DJ, she wanted Liza. She wanted her family.

"I couldn't find your phone in the nursery, Mommy! I tried to find it!" Noah was so scared and desperate that it was making Kath feel worse. She wanted nothing more than to comfort her son, to assure him that she was okay and that Dylan was okay, but tears fell harder at the thought that she couldn't promise him anything - she had no idea whether Dylan was safe, whether she was okay.

"I-It'll be in the kitchen, then, monster... t-tell whoever answers the phone that... that the baby's coming, okay?" Kath pleaded and Noah whimpered with fear, going to run off but Kath grabbed his wrist and gently pulled him closer to her and she pulled him down so that she could reach him to kiss his cheek. "Don't be scared, it's gonna be okay." She breathed, kissing him again but Noah said nothing and just ran towards the kitchen, standing on his tiptoes to see onto the counters. He knew what Kath's phone looked like, he just couldn't see it and that was what was making him panic more, especially now knowing that his little sister was coming early. He didn't understand what that meant exactly, but he knew that his baby sister was very little and he was scared that she may be too little to come yet - that she may not have grown enough. He found her purse, though and he grabbed it and pulled it down from the kitchen counter and he shook the contents of it out on the floor.

"I'm looking, Mommy!" Noah called.

"I-It's okay, baby!" Kath called back, tears continuously streaming down her face in pure fear for both her children - for Noah and how this would affect him, and her unborn little girl, her Dylan. Noah looked around all the items on the ground from Kath's purse, but he practically screamed with joy when he found her phone and he was able to unlock it. The passcode was his birthday and he'd played games on her phone in restaurants before whilst they waited for their food to come, but instead of the games, he tapped on the phone icon and he dialed in 911 before hitting the green button.

"Hello, what emergency service do you require?" A woman almost instantly answered.

"A amblance." Noah struggled to say, shaking as he stood amongst the mess he'd made on the kitchen floor. He was terrified to go back to Kath, to see her in so much pain but he didn't want to leave her alone either. He found himself rooted to the spot, not knowing what to do or what to say.

All he could do was sob.
