It had been three months since the miscarriage, and so much had changed since then. Kath and DJ both attended couple's therapy once a week to talk about it and to support each other - it was a safe and neutral place for them to be together and to discuss anything and everything, on top of them having individual sessions with a therapist and Noah still continued to see his therapist once every two weeks. He saw Jasmine once a week too with DJ, but he didn't talk about it much with anybody. He spent every other weekend with Kath and he stayed over with her, but she took care of him whenever DJ was at therapy or was working late and he had Dylan on alternate weekends too, so each weekend the children were both either with DJ or Kath - they did things as a family too, spending the day together before one of them would go home and leave the kids with the other parent. It was a steady routine for Noah and that was helping him to cope with the fact that his parents weren't together anymore, even though he still silently hoped that they would get back together. He just didn't talk about Jasmine unless he had to, but they tried hard not to worry about that, hoping he talked about her with his therapist instead. If anything worrying came out of his therapy sessions, his therapist would call them and that was their only comfort about the situation. Enrique had waited a month or so after the miscarriage before asking Liza out on a date, and they had been a couple ever since.

"What are you doing, baby girl? Are you still sleepy?" Kath cooed, leaning down and kissing Dylan's cheek. Kath was still hurting over the miscarriage, but it was getting easier to cope with and she'd even done a radio interview to talk about what happened and to raise awareness - it had been highly praised when it aired. It would always be a sore spot for both Kath and DJ to talk about, but they were focusing on their kids and they were thriving - Noah had even been enrolled to start school in a couple of weeks. Kath and DJ had toured schools together, trying to find the perfect one.

"Kaa..." Dylan hummed, going to rub her eyes but Kath held onto her hands before she could scratch herself.

"My beautiful girl." She breathed, leaning in and kissing her bed hair. She smiled as she leaned back against the couch as she sat on the floor with Dylan, watching as the baby girl managed to roll herself over onto her back - a skill she'd only recently learned, and she started to play with her own fingers. "What did you find, baby girl? Did you find a hand?" Kath asked enthusiastically, gasping and she smiled as Dylan giggled and babbled back to her, settling as Kath wiped the sleep from her eyes gently. "I love you so much, baby girl." She whispered, admiring her little girl. Dylan was still small for her age, but she was thriving. She was developing well, her only downside being her sensitive hearing that she still hadn't grown out of yet.

"Hello?" A voice called, making Dylan squeal in surprise and Kath set her hand on Dylan's tummy to reassure her.

"Hey, Liz!" Kath called, grinning as her best friend came into the living room - she'd been given a key for the hotel room after the miscarriage. DJ had one too, as did his parents and Max - just in case there was an emergency.

"Hi, sis. Hey, Dylan! Look at you! All beautiful!" Liza cooed, joining Kath on the floor so that the baby was laid between them on her blanket on the rug.

"She just woke up from her afternoon nap, so she's still half-asleep... I have about ten minutes of her trying to wake herself up before she realizes she's hungry." Kath said and Liza laughed.

"She's so cute... I met Alex last night." Liza said with a smile and Kath's smile widened.

"I'm guessing it went well?"

"He's adorable - he's in this little toddler dance class, so he wanted to show me all of his moves," Liza said, laughing with Kath. "But I actually came here because I'm babysitting Dylan tonight." She said and Kath raised an eyebrow.

"Why? I don't have plans."

"I may or may not have arranged a blind date for you tonight," Liza said with an innocent smile and Kath's jaw dropped.

"What?!" She exclaimed, sighing as Dylan jumped, whining. "I'm sorry, baby girl." She cooed, lifting her up and kissing her cheek, laying Dylan against her chest.

"He's totally into you - he doesn't care that you have kids! He has kids, too." Liza said and Kath groaned, kissing the top of Dylan's head.

"I'm not even sure I'm ready to date again... is he cute?"

"Definitely your type."

"I wanna see a picture of him before I decide."

"No! That'll take away the 'blind' part of the 'blind date', you homeschooled idiot." Liza scolded playfully and Kath rolled her eyes.

"I'm not gonna get out of this, am I?"

"Nope." Liza grinned and Kath bit her lip.

"Fine." Kath reluctantly agreed, making Liza cheer and she made Dylan clap her hands too, the baby girl giggling.
