"I saw your announcement about you and DJ... I'm sorry, you guys were good together." Enrique said and Kath sighed, nodding her head.
"It sucks, but there's not much I can do about it. I just want us to stay friends for the sake of the kids and I know that Noah isn't mine, but..." She trailed off, Enrique shaking his head.
"But you love him like he is." He finished for her and Kath nodded her head.
"I miss him a lot." She admitted, but she cleared her throat. "Don't mind me - here I am, talking about how I miss a boy that isn't even mine and you lost your girlfriend." She said and Enrique couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head.
"Other people are allowed to have problems... I'm not entirely over it, but I've learned to move on for Alex. I don't know about you, but I'm glad we ran into each other - we can hang out more." Enrique said, taking a sip of his drink and Kath smiled, nodding her head.
"For sure. I'm taking Dylan to my ex's parents place on Saturday so she can spend some time with her Dad and I was thinking of grabbing a movie with Liza - you wanna come?" She asked and Enrique smiled, nodding his head.
"Sure." He agreed, the two of them exchanging phone numbers just in time for Dylan to pull away from her mother's breast. Kath fixed herself underneath the blanket before putting it back over the stroller, starting to burp Dylan. "Gosh, I don't think Alex was ever as small as her," Enrique said with a smile, watching as Kath doted on her daughter as she burped her.
"She was six weeks early, so technically my due date is on Thursday," Kath said and Enrique chuckled, shaking his head.
"That's crazy... I can see your scar, by the way. I reached out to you on social media after the shooting incident, but I guess you got flooded with messages then." He admitted and Kath was taken aback that he'd reached out.
"I didn't see it, I'm so sorry."
"No, don't apologize!" Enrique couldn't help but laugh. "You nearly died, I think you're allowed to have missed a couple of messages... is everything okay now?" He asked and Kath nodded.
"Yeah, I barely feel it anymore. It's just hard to believe that I was pregnant then, and I was so close to dying but Dylan clung on... we both have miracle kids, huh?" She breathed and Enrique smiled.
"Absolutely." He agreed, and he burst out laughing when Dylan let out a burp. "She knows how to top off a nice moment," Enrique said sarcastically and Kath laughed, kissing the top of Dylan's head.
"Is he making fun of you, baby girl?" She cooed, making Enrique chuckle.
"Hey, don't make her hate me!" Enrique exclaimed, smiling when Kath rolled her eyes playfully, taking a sip of her coffee and she practically moaned which made him laugh. "You needed that, huh?" He guessed and Kath nodded her head.
"Like you wouldn't believe." She breathed.

DJ turned around in his seat once they'd pulled up in the park. Noah was sat in his car seat with Leo in his lap and the picnic things were on the backseat beside him.
"I don't feel well, Daddy..." Noah mumbled.
"You're just nervous, son, and that's okay! But I'll be right there with you the whole time, alright?" DJ assured him and Noah slowly nodded his head.
"Do I have to call her Mommy?" Noah asked after a moment of silence and DJ instantly shook his head.
"No, of course not... you can just call her Jasmine. This is all going to be done how you want it, alright? You're the most important thing in all of this." DJ promised and Noah took off his seatbelt and climbed carefully out of the car which made DJ do the same and he grabbed the backpack and blanket from the backseat, walking with Noah towards the play area DJ and Jasmine had arranged to meet.
"DJ!" Jasmine called with a nervous smile and Noah instantly hid behind DJ's legs as they got closer, the little boy holding Leo closer to his chest, trying to pretend that it was his Mom. "Hi, Noah." Jasmine breathed, kneeling down so that they were on the same eye level. "This is a little weird, huh? A little scary." Jasmine said and Noah hesitated before nodding his head.
"You left," Noah said and Jasmine nodded her head.
"I-I did, but I hope that we can have some fun together now... we can be friends." Jasmine said and Noah sniffled, still hiding mostly behind DJ's legs.
"Why don't we go play on the swings?" DJ suggested, but Noah shook his head and took the blanket from DJ's grip, doing his best to lay it out with one hand and he sat on it with Leo in his lap. DJ sighed, kneeling down in front of his son. "Noah..."
"I don't wanna be here anymore, Daddy. I want Mommy." Noah whispered, but Jasmine still heard what her son said.
