"I swear to God, if you ruin Dylan's schedule and she's all grouchy tomorrow and this date isn't worth it, I'll... do something to you I haven't thought of yet," Kath warned and Liza laughed, running her fingers through Dylan's soft hair. It was clear that she'd just woken up, she was cuddly and clinging to her Mom.
"We'll get along fine! She likes Mommy's singing, so I'm sure I can find a song or two that's appropriate for her little ears." Liza teased and Kath rolled her eyes playfully.
"My songs aren't that bad." Kath defended herself.
"Okay, let's see... Sexy Dirty Love - pretty much that entire album. Then there's-" Liza listed, but she laughed as Kath groaned.
"Shut up! I get the point." Kath laughed, kissing the top of Dylan's head. "She likes classical music, so you can just play that for her if she's restless... I just make up songs for her anyway." Kath admitted, holding Dylan close to her as the baby girl buried her head into her Mom, but it was as Dylan brought her hands up that it became clear what she wanted. "Okay, baby girl... let's get you fed, then we can get you out of your sleep clothes." Kath said softly and Liza smiled, watching Liza leave to the bedroom with Dylan - it was heartbreaking to think that Kath should be around five months pregnant if the baby had survived, but they were moving forward as a family, supporting each other no matter what. Liza got up from the floor, starting to tidy things away for Kath so she didn't have to worry about it whilst she was out and then she fell back against the couch, turning on the TV but keeping it quiet because she knew that Dylan needed quiet and peace to eat properly otherwise she'd get distracted or her sensitive hearing would start to bother her.
It was a little over a half-hour later when Kath came out of the bedroom with Dylan, the little girl looking more awake and she was dressed in just a t-shirt.
"Ooo, I'm loving this look." Liza teased, making a face at Dylan and smiling with Kath as the baby burst into a fit of giggles, hiding shyly in Kath.
"Someone wouldn't stop kicking their legs and Mommy gave up before she had a breakdown." Kath cooed, letting Liza take the baby. "Where am I going tonight for this date? Do I have to be fancy?"
"Not overly fancy, but make an effort... you're going to that Italian restaurant downtown, the table is booked under my name," Liza said and Kath raised an eyebrow.
"That's the restaurant DJ and I used to go to all the time." Kath said and Liza nodded.
"I know, but it's the best! Is it a problem?"
"No, it's just gonna be... weird... being there with someone else." Kath argued and Liza rolled her eyes playfully.
"Back in the bedroom! I'll help you get ready." Liza encouraged, leading the way and she held Dylan against her hip. The toddler was just reaching for her Mom, so Liza let Kath have her. "You have bottles for her, right?"
"Yeah, I have a couple in the fridge, but she shouldn't need more than two before I'm back." Kath said, kissing the top of Dylan's head and she sat on the edge of the bed, playing with Dylan for a while as Liza dug through her closet for something appropriate to wear on her first blind date.
"Will you stop playing with the baby so I can do your makeup?!" Liza complained, making Kath laugh.
"She's more fun than this!"
"You won't be saying that when you get on your date," Liza smirked and Kath rolled her eyes playfully, but she did as she was told and stayed still so Liza could help her better.

Kath pulled up outside the restaurant, sighing. She felt strange being at her usual date restaurant with DJ, meeting somebody else and she still wasn't sure she was even ready to date again but she got out of the car, locking it up before she headed inside the restaurant.
"Hi, ma'am! Do you have a reservation?" The waiter asked and Kath nodded her head.
"Should be under Liza Soberano?" Kath said and the waiter nodded his head, picking up a menu.
"Right this way." He said with a smile, leading Kath to a table at the back of the restaurant but he stopped a few tables away when Kath froze, the man looking just as shocked as her.
"DJ..." She choked out.
"Kathryn..."

DJ stood up as she walked closer to him, his arms locking around her waist as she threw hers around his neck - they closed the gap between them without saying a word, capturing each other in a deep and passionate kiss.
