DJ clipped up Dylan's vest the next morning, making faces at her to keep her amused but he sighed as she just continued to whine. "Come on, princess, cheer up for Daddy!" DJ encouraged, but Dylan continued to fuss.

"My poor baby." Kath cooed, lifting her up from the floor and kissing her head, letting Dylan curl up against her chest. "I just got off the phone with the doctor and he can fit us in at eleven - for once, the fact that she's six weeks premature is actually helpful," Kath said, kissing her head.

"Eleven? That's in forty-five minutes!" DJ jumped up from the floor and rushed up the stairs to grab Noah. Dylan had been fussy ever since the incident the previous day and she felt warm, so they were certain she was coming down with a cold. They just wanted her to see a doctor, unsure what to do to help her because she was so little and premature - the last thing they wanted was for a cold to become dangerous to her somehow. Noah seemed to be okay, but they were keeping an eye on him in case he got sick too from sitting in the water after it had gone cold.

"Oh, baby girl... you're gonna hate Mommy and Daddy soon to let a doctor look you over, but we only do it because we love you so much... the nice doctor will make you feel better, baby, they'll help us make you feel better." Kath kissed her daughter's warm forehead and she rubbed her back. Dylan was dressed in nothing more than her vest and a pair of socks and there was a light blanket in the car, just in case, but they were trying to keep her cool because she felt so warm.

"I'm ready, Mommy!" Noah announced as he came into the living room, his shoes on and DJ was pulling on his jacket.

"Good boy! Do you have Leo?" She asked and he held up the big lion toy that he couldn't go anywhere without.

"Does Dylan want him because she's sick?" Noah asked as they all headed into the garage together to get into the car.

"No, honey, she's okay just having cuddles for now," Kath assured him and DJ helped Noah get into the backseat and Kath got Dylan strapped in, but it was like a repeat of the previous day - Dylan was instantly in tears at the loss of contact with her Mom, but Noah reached over and held onto her hand as DJ and Kath got into the front of the car.

"It's okay, Dylan! Doctors aren't so bad. I share Leo with you!" Noah said, making Dylan touch Leo's face with the hand he was holding and he giggled when Dylan was so shocked by the new sensation of feeling the toy that she stopped crying. "Mommy, look!" He exclaimed proudly and Kath looked through the rearview mirror, smiling at her kids.

"Wow! Are you sharing Leo with your sister?"

"Yeah! She likes him, Mommy!"

"We'll have to get her a few toys like him, huh?" Kath said and Noah nodded in agreement, DJ smiling proudly at his son. He was such a good big brother without even realizing it, without truly trying. He was just a naturally good kid and that made him the proudest father in the world.

"She definitely has a fever, but that can be brought down by steam... I normally tell the parents to just strip the baby down and sit in the bathroom, run the shower and let it get super-steamy, just don't stay in there too long because you don't want them to get too warm." The doctor said, a smile on his face. He'd been extra gentle with Dylan, singing silly songs to distract the baby so she didn't even notice what he was doing and it put Noah at ease too, to see that his sister wasn't crying or upset.

"We can definitely do that," DJ assured him and the doctor nodded his head.

"And if she isn't any better in a few days, you can bring her straight back!" He said with a smile, shaking DJ's hand and then Kath's and he escorted the family out of his office.

"Dylan is okay?" Noah asked and DJ nodded.

"Yeah, bud, she's gonna be just fine. She just needs lots of cuddles." DJ said and Noah beamed.

"I give her lots of cuddles!" Noah volunteered, making Kath and DJ laugh.

"You can give her some cuddles when we get home, how about that? You can cuddle up with her on the couch and hold her for the first time properly." Kath suggested and Noah nodded his head quickly. "But I can literally smell Dylan's diaper, so I'm gonna go change her whilst we're here," Kath said, taking the baby bag from DJ as he took it from over the handles of the newly bought stroller.

"I help!" Noah volunteered, following Kath to the bathrooms and DJ chuckled, going to sit down to wait for them to come back but his eyes landed on someone - someone he never thought he'd see again, and she was staring right back at him.

"Hi, DJ." She said with a shy smile.

"Jasmine..." He choked out.

He was face-to-face with Noah's mother.
