You Fight Valiantly Pt.1 (Thanos X Male Reader)

A/n: AU where you are a super powered Xandarian who is also apart of the Nova Corp and instead of the event IW Thanos comes to Xandar to kill half of the population. Probably will be a little mini series. This is a long a/n lol.

As I walked around people asked for help and tourists asked for directions noticing my uniform I guess. Anyways I happily helped them I loved helping people. A tug caused me to look down at a little girl looking scared.

"What's that" she pointed up. I looked up to see a giant ship preparing to enter the atmosphere.

"Umm it's a ship can you go to your parents for me please" I said. She nodded then ran off. Thinking over everything early today they haven't sent out anything about a ship arriving. I placed my finger on my earpiece.

"Umm command are you seeing this" I asked still looking up. After a minute I got a response.

"Yes this is an unannounced visitor be prepared for anything and evacuate our people their safety is our top priority" The voice said. As I started to tell people to go to a safe place the city's alarms started to go off. A strong blue blast was shot in in our direction.

"NOOOO" I yelled. The force of the blast blew me away. After a minute I groaned and opened my eyes all I could see was smoke. As I got up I went to see if anyone was around and they all were dead. Realization hit me if I didn't have my powers I would be dead too. I placed a finger on my earpiece.

"Everyone in my section is dead a blast from the ship took us down" I explained.

"Y/n we need you back at headquarters" my commander said urgently.

"But what about the other citizens" I asked.

"We think they are here for the orb we need you here now" she replied. No they can't get that.

"I'm on my way" I said as I started to fly in the direction. As I landed I seen Nova fighter ships going to try to create a barrier to stop anymore blast. As I entered the building I heading towards the orbs holding room. My commander greeted me.

"Y/n you are best suited to protect the orb in case that is what they are here for" she said.

"Why is this orb so special" I asked

"Remember when Ronan came and attacked with the power stone" I nodded "well that is what the orb is housing" she finished.

"If all else fail put the orb in the teleportation cube and once it is delivered destroy this cube" she stated to me as the alarming the build started to go off.

"Okay who is it teleported to" I asked.

"The guardians the other cube is on their ship" she finished then put her hand up to silence me as she listened to what was being said through her earpiece.

"I must go" she said as she pulled out her plasma gun and left. After a couple minutes the building shook over the loudspeaker we are under attack was repeated. I picked up the orb and placed it in the cube, after pressing some buttons it shined and then the orb was gone. So I closed my hand into a fist and focus the power to flow my hand all the way up to my forearm. Punching the box a couple of times until it was destroyed.

"It's a mass killing does anyone copy" a weak voice rang through the earpiece.

"Yes I copy where is the location" I replied urgently.

"The middle class neighborhood section 17" the voice replied.  No that's my parents live. I blasted a hole through the ceiling and started to fly in the direction.  Once out of the building all I could see fire and smoke everywhere. Giant creature flew around the sky roaring. As I landed all I could see was death and destruction. I hid as quietly walked seeing all the dead bodies. But to familiars one caused me to run to them. As I dropped to my knees I placed a hand on each of them.

"No" I  whispered as my vision blurred with tears.

"Sire they seemed to have missed one" a voice said. I turned slightly to see six figures. A giant purple skinned man turned to look at me.

"Take care of him my children" he stated. With a roar a big thing started to charge at me. I raised my hand up and blasted him a long distance away. Suddenly wire wrapped tightly around my wrist holding me down the they stared to wrap around my body. As I looked up I saw a grey faced thing looking at me with a smirk. I focus my energy and opened my eyes wide as energy blasted from my eyes sending him down and freeing me from the wires. As I stood up I seen a woman with blue hair and a hooded man coming at me. As she brought her staff down to hit me blocked it with my shielded forearm. With my other arm I grabbed her arm and spun around with force and let go she landed on the hooded guy and I started to fly towards the purple guy with energy flowing through my fist. He went to grab his sword but I punched him before he could grab it. I punched and punched. I couldn't stop he killed all of these people HE KILLED MY PARENTS and that is something he won't get always with. After a couple of seconds he head butted me. And I lost my concentration for a second he took that moment to grab his sword. As he started to swing I dodged every one of them as I took steps back. I tripped over a brick and fell on my back. He stood over me with a blank face.

"You fight valiantly my child but your spirit is in the wrong cause" he said.

"I am not your child you killed my parents" I growled out.

"A pity, you are in a Nova outfit so you know where the stone is" he said eyeing my uniform. I don't know what he's planning but he can't get that stone.

"What stone" I asked. He looked at me for awhile then looked away into the distance.

"The power stone, the stone Ronan used to attack this planet" he said with a sigh.

"I-i dunno I thought it was destroyed when Ronan was killed" I lied. He reached down and grabbed me by my bicep lifted me up. I started to thrash around.

"Let me go" I said as I getting ready to blast him.

"I only came to balance this planet and to find the stone, but I could turn the population to zero if that's what you seek" he said. I dropped my head and let him continue to drag me along for who knows how long. We finally stopped walking so I looked up horrified by the scene before my.

"What have you done" I gasped out. The Nova building was gone and what was left was burning with fire.

"I've done what needs to be done if not kept in check this universe will end itself" he explained.

"Ah look you can witness first hand the balancing of the universe" he said looking to his left. I stepped over and looked where he was looking. They had all of these people separated on two different sides. Some were people I knew from Nova. His soldiers on one side raised their weapons.

"No, no WAIT" I begged. He gave them a simple hold on and then looked at me.

"What" he asked.

"What if instead of killing them you take me, maybe I can help you find the stone" I pleaded. He looked at me suspiciously for awhile then opened his mouth to speak.

A/n: I wonder what Thanos said🤔. Finally a real update lol.  So like this idea just popped in my head one day so yeh here it is 😊. Thanks for reading ☺️☺️
