Just A Random Story Pt. 3 (Thor X Male Reader)

~FIVE YEARS LATER~

They couldn't bring them back so we had to move on. Thor wallows in his sadness no matter how much I try to talk to him and now he won't even let see him anymore so basically Valkyrie and I have become the default leaders of New Asgard. Some of the older Asgardians have taught me how to manipulate and use magic. So I sneak in and check on Thor sometimes. Looking at the ring on my hand brings a smile to my face but great sadness to my heart. I wish he would just understand that I love him no matter the size or appearance because his heart is what I fell in love with.

As I sat with these thoughts my phone ringing startled me. Seeing Bruce's name I answered.

"Hey Bruce"

"Heeeyy Y/n soo uuh there's a chance we can fix everything and we need your help"

"What do you mean by everything"

"Thanos"

"Are-are you serious like bring them all back"

"Yes"

"I'm in"

"Great so me and Rocket can come get you and Thor"

"Uhh now that maybe a little harder"

"Wha-why"

"Well Bruce Thor kinda-he just took everything pretty hard"

"We on our way"

"Okay"

I went out to the dock after packing to inform Valkyrie. When a voice called out.

"VALKYRIE heeey angry girl" Bruce exclaimed as we both turned around and looked him up and down.

"You sounded different but I wasn't expecting this" I said in shock.

"I think I liked you better of either of the other ways" Valkyrie said.

"He won't see you" she continued.

"That bad" he asked. 

"He won't even see me anymore" I said with a sigh as I looked at the shack.

"Well take care of him you just head to the ship and relax" Bruce reassured as he gave me a pat on the shoulder.

After sitting on the ship for awhile I heard them enter.

"Now were is the beer I was promised rabbit" Thor questioned.

I stood up and looked at them.

"It's over there I think down by the kitchen" I explained and he looked at me in shock.

"Y-y/n I didn't know you'd be here" he whispered as he brought his arms down to cover his stomach.

"I know" I sighed sadly as I went back to my seat.

After we made it to the compound Thor avoided me at all cost. I was working on the suits with Bruce and Nebula when Natasha came looking for me.

"There's a boy and his dad here to see you" she said to me and I got excited and followed her. As we rounded the corner my named was yelled.

"Y/N" I heard Danny yell as I was brought into a hug.

I ruffled his hair and hugged him back.

"You've gotta stop growing buddy, kinda miss the small boy I had save" I said.

"Yeh it's like he's growing every night" Edward replied.

After talking to them and playing with Danny for awhile they left and me and Natasha started to head back to the lab.

"So why have you and Thor not had children" she asked.

"Kinda hard to have that conversation with someone who won't even see you or talk to you" I said with a sigh as I looked at my ring.

"You two are still together right" she asked as me made a detour for the kitchen.

"Yeah but it's like after Thanos he just shut down he stopped talking to me and now every time he sees me he runs the other way I think he thinks I wouldn't like him because he's gained weight but his looks aren't what I fell in love with I just wish he would talk to me" I finished with a sigh.

I was shocked that Natasha gave me a hug but I hugged her back.

We got the stones, we brought everyone back but Natasha was dead, Tony died, Bruce's arm was messed up even my magic couldn't help it, and the compound was destroyed. Thor clung time at the funeral which brought me joy, whatever his mother said to him brought him slowly back to himself. But what he told me and Valkyrie once we made it back to New Asgard was a shock.

"Thor" I whispered.

"You can't be serious" Valkyrie asked.

"You two have been better leaders than I could've ever been" he said.

"Well what you gonna do now" Valkyrie asked.

"I don't know for the first time in my life I don't have a path but I do have a ride" he said as we looked at the ship then he looked at me.

"Are you sure you want to do this" I asked as he stood in front of me. He smiled at me.

"Yes it's time for me to stop being who I think I'm meant to be and just be who I am and I understand if you wish to part way with me" he finished with a sad smile.

"Thor I love you and I understand you need to find yourself so if you have to go out space I support you fully just know I'll be here for you and this," I said as I held up my hand and showed him the Uru wedding band," is my promise to that okay you won't lose me" I finished as I wiped the tear that left his eye.

"I love you too Y/n" he said before kissing me.
