No It's Kansas Pt.4 (Everett Ross X Male Reader) 1 Year Anniversary*

"You're okay" I exclaimed as I ran forward and hugged Everett.

After realizing what I was doing I slow went to move away from him but he hugged me back.

"I'm glad your okay too" he said as we continued to hug me.

"I'm okay to if you're wondering brother" T'Challa spoke sarcastically from behind us.

I turned to look at him and he smirked once his helmet came off. I looked around then noticed something.

"Where's Killmonger" I questioned.

Then his expression changed to one of sadness.

"He is no longer among the living" he explained.

I walked over and gave him a hug and patted his back.

"I'm sorry brother I know that must've been hard to do" I consoled.

"HEY HEY we won there is no need to have long faces" Nakia said as she walked over.

I looked at her then back at him and gave a smirk and rose one of my eyebrows. He laughed.

"Oh no you can not give me those looks anymore" he said with a smirk then nodded his head in Everett's direction.

"Shut up" I demanded as slapped his shoulder.

We brought our people back together. My brother got a celebration ceremony. My mother invited Everett to stay, until T'Challa had to return to the United Nations, looking at me the whole time with a knowing smile. Everett's been spending a lot of time with me. I've been showing him things in my lab and it's warming that he finds them interesting. Today I was teaching him how to ride a hover bike.

"Yes see it's simple you got it" I encouraged as he rode towards me.

"How do I-" he asked as he started to come closer faster.

"No no wait stop" I exclaimed as the bike rushed at me.

Suddenly he crashed into me and we landed on the ground. Me on the ground and him on top of me. As I opened my eyes I looked up to see him hovering me.

"I'm sorry I forgot where the brakes were are you okay" he rushed out as he looked at me.

To nervous I just simply nodded my head and he gave me a smile. Looking at his smile made my lips suddenly feel dry so I liked then. His smile faded as his eyes tracked my movements. He looked looked at my lips then my eyes almost as if he was asking for permission. I leaned up a little to meet him and we kissed.
