I read out in confusion. As I looked to the old woman she pointed up with a smile.
"No way" I said as I flew up to get a closer look to it.
"What" she asked.
"I had this dream I was in space floating between Xandar and this planet and above me was white light like this one" I said.
"Reach out it belongs to you" she said. As I did I felt something fall into my hand and I landed back on the ground. As I opened my hand to examine it it was a white glowing stone.
"What am I supposed to do with this" I asked.
"Your powers come from the stone but it can also enhance them" she said.
"You know Thanos" she asked.
"Replace know with kidnapped by but yes" then I remembered his plan.
"I NEED TO STOP HIM BEFORE HE GETS ALL THE INFINITY STONES" I yelled. I said as I got ready to leave but her hand grabbed me.
"Child I must warn you of something if...."(A/n: this part connected to the solo book so you'll have to wait to find out 🙃)
As I flew as fast as I could towards where I sensed the most stones, the words the ancient elder said echoed in my mind.
As planet C-53 came into my view I closed my eyes and allowed my senses to lead me as I opened my eye I seen an ax being thrown and energy trying to deflect it but still the land in Thanos' chest as you landed on the ground you watch Thor step to him and said something then he yelled no and I started to feel different like something weird was happening. Suddenly Thanos went through a portal and Thor just stood their frozen.
"Thor....where'd he go" some blonde guy said as he looked at me suspiciously.
"Steve" a brown headed guy called out as he turned into dust and metal his arm(A/n: it really bugged me that his arm didn't stay when he dusted)and gun fell. My eyes widened as my helmet dematerialized as I looked in shock as the blonde walked over to touch the dust and turned to look at both of us confused. For some reason I could feel it happening all over the universe. I turned my head when I heard a 'no groot no'.
"Rocket" I called out. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes.
"Twinkle fist what are you doing here" he asked.
"I-i m'sorry I was too late" I said as a stray tear ran down my cheek. The weight of my failure started to set in all these people are dying because of me.
"Oh God" the blonde dude said he sat on the ground as we all looked at a android with a hole in his head. After a moment we all headed back to a city with a blue shield around it the destruction was so bad crashed ships and crying people were everywhere. As we made it to the roof of a building the blonde guy comforted a crying woman. I followed Rocket as he got on a ship and sat beside him.
"What happened" he asked me as everyone got on the ship and it started to take off but the still listened.
"He came to Xandar and he just destroyed everything Rocket he killed so many people I sent the stone you guys and he was planning on killing some more people because they didn't know about the stone" I paused as tears swelled my eyes.
