I woke up with a smile every morning for the next few days, staring at the charm bracelet Dick had given me for christmas.

My mind wandered to where my gift to Robin might be. It had been a special type of frame; you put the picture in the back, and in front is an enclosure you fill with water.

Naturally I picked the star one; and naturally it was real star dust I put into the water.

Then there was the gift Witch Boy gave me when I went to see him. A ring that looked like my Emerald Star ring, only blue. He said it could help control the Midnight mana.

In my mind, his words still echoed.

“Come to the Witch World on the 30th of December. Six o’clock exactly. We're going to Santa Prisca.”

Today was the funeral and the will reading, so when I had a shower, it was no green; just black clothes I put on. A plain black dress and mini-blazer. I slipped on some shoes and walked into the lounge.

“I-I should be able to catch you guys at the Hall,” I said, grabbing my bag front the counter. I walked into the mission room wit Dick following.

“Are you sure you don’t want me to go with you?” He asked me. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

“I’m sure; I’ll be fine.”

Yeah right. I cried a fair bit and i would have been nice for him to be there even though I had Hal and Carrol.

We were in the office afterwards to witness the will. It was me, Teresa, another nephew and two girls maybe slightly older than I am.

Lana didn’t have much left behind. She left her wedding ring to me and a necklace with a carving on it. I also received a letter she had written for me.

All of her belongings were read out, but there was one item left everyone had their eyes on; her prized Jaguar sports car.

When the reader said my name, I felt like I did not hear him correctly.

“Excuse me?”

“Yes. Miss Salvini has left her car to you.”

The tw teenaged girls jumped up in rage, yelling an screaming that that was supposed to be their car; that they didn’t want the leftovers of Lana’s jewellery.

Since it was the end of the Will, I took the letter, ring, necklace and car keys out the door. Hal and Carrol were waiting for me. I smiled and held up the keys.

“Can we go and get my car?”

I returned to the cave and got changed into a green skirt, a white and green long sleeved shirt and a black vest. I putt on some boots and ran into the mission room and through the tubes to the Hall.
