In one week I would be a married man. Not only I was happier than the man who landed on the moon but seeing Shana's glowing face every day made me felt like I was in a celestial world. Despite the previous debacle between her dad and brother she has been so happy as well, planning our wedding with our wedding planner Julio.

Since I proposed and we've set a date, she's been looking for 'the perfect wedding dress' but had no luck. Hopefully today will be that day she finally finds the perfect dress that makes her feel like a queen.

I sat by the bar in the kitchen with my back turned toward the edge of the counter. I caught a glimpse of her skipping back and forth in a short bath towel. Pressing the edges against her chest. She was glistening, like a goddess. Strands of her wet hair stuck to her face as they swung with her swift movements.

While she disappeared in the back room, someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it. There was a man with wavy brown hair that was brushed back; he's wearing a checkered dress shirt with matching grey pants and vest.

"You must be Julio."

"Mr. Somers!" He hugs me unexpectedly,"It is certainly an honor to finally meet you! Sorry about the hug, I'm a hugger!" He marches in, uninvited.

"No problem. Come in." I close the door behind him.

"If I hadn't met you just now I would've think that Shana was going to marry herself." He laughs. "Speaking of...where's the beautiful bride to be?"

"She's getting ready. She'll be out soon."

"Perfect. What a beautiful apartment. And you, you look nice."

"Thank you."

"Going to a soiree are we?" He said stepping closer fixing my collar. I took a step back and cleared my throat, trying not to say anything that might offend him.

"Yes, um my friend invited me to a party one of his buddy is hosting."

"Living life. I must say that I admire you so much with what you're going through you're so brave..."

"Julio hey!" Shana came out cutting him off. Thank god she did, if she hadn't he would have gone on and on about my cancer making me anxious and ruining my afternoon. He talks too much, I thought Jon was a talkative guy but that guy would give him a run for his money.

Shana hugs him like she's seeing a long lost friend. She turns to me and held my hand, "today's going to be the day. I could just feel it." She smiles and kissed me. "I love you so much." She looks up into my eyes.

"I love you too, more than anything." I give her a peck on her lips, "Good luck today, babe."

We turn and look at Julio grinning at us, "Aw! You guys are so cute! But we have got to go prince Charming. That dress isn't going to find us you know." He opens the door for Shana to go first and he followed.

Later, I had Sydney dropped me off at this new club that Bryce, Jon's friend from Vegas was opening. Last I saw Bryce was in Vegas, he had thrown Jon a huge birthday party and I ended up drunk, punched Jon in the face and threaten to buy Bryce's whole life. He sent me an invitation before but I declined it because I was too embarrassed that I acted that way. He kept insisting that I come. It wasn't until Jon came over and begs for me to go.

I stood in front of the white building and look up. There was the name Joche2.0 printed in huge letters in blue lights. It didn't look like there was a party going on because there were no cars, people or loud music playing. I look at my phone and scrolled through my texts Jon sent me for the time I should be there. It was four pm, I was on time.
