Sam got into their bedroom.
"Samuel William Winchester."
Sam watched his finacée. "How do you even know my full-"
"Where have you been?"
Sam sighed. "Dean called me to check out this place in the woods because he was worried there might be something and-"
"You went on a hunt!"
"I did, but-"
"You promised!"
"Gabriel, I-"
"You promised!" The archangel teared up, staring up at the hunter. "You promised you wouldn't go on a hunt."
Sam looked down. "Gabe, I... I couldn't say no."
"You could lie to me."
"I didn't," Sam claimed. "I needed to help my brother and best friend."
"So they are more important to you than I am?"
"Well, I love you as much as I love Dean and Cas."
Gabriel crossed her arms. "But you chose them over me."
"I didn't choose anyone, Gabriel. Stop making this a personal issue when it's not."
"Screw you." Gabe stormed out of the bedroom, Sam following her. "Gabe, please." The hunter grabbed her arm.
Gabe watched him, jaw clenched and eyes hooded. "Let me go or I will rip off your arm."
Sam hesitated, then let go. "Fine. Have it your way then." He walked past the archangel straight into the library. He grabbed a book and dropped on the chair. He knew that pages would be one of the few things to calm him down. He lost himself in the words, relaxing, smiling.
Thirty minutes later, Sam felt a weight on his lap. Sam wrapped his arms around the small figure, his stubbled chin resting on her golden hair. "I'm sorry," the woman mumbled.
"It's okay," Sam hushed. With one hand he brushed over Gabriel's arm, the other held his book steady.
Nothing felt as calming as the feeling of Gabriel's head on Sam's chest, slowly rising and sinking with his respiration. Gabe's finger's slipped into Sam's rolled up sleeve, playing with and tugging on the fabric. Her hands went down, tracing the veins running down to Sam's wrist.
Sam smiled. "You look bored."
"I'm not." Gabe stretched upward and placed a kiss on Sam's cheek. "I'm just enjoying our cuddles and that you do something you like."
"You mean cuddling you?" He put the book down, focusing entirely on his fiancée. "Or you mean spending time with you?"
"Suck-Up."
"Oh, so now I'm the one that-"
"Sam!"
The hunter laughed. "Yes, sunshine?"
"I love you," Gabriel mumbled.
"I love you too," Sam smiled. "So much." He put the book back in the shelf, then picked up the archangel and walked around the bunker. He wasn't heading anymore, more so exploring the hallways he hadn't seen in years if he had seen them at all. There were tons of rooms he had never seen. One of these empty rooms was gonna be the room of their baby, and another one for Theodora, and a third one for Jack and Clark's baby. Eventually, his grandchildren would live here.
At least he hoped that. He wouldn't want Serah to move out. He wanted her to live with them forever, with her boyfriend or girlfriend and their kids. A deep sigh escaped Sam's lips.
"What is it?" Gabe asked, slight concern in her voice.
"Just thinking about the future," he said. "It'll be good."
"Damn right it'll be." She smiled brightly. "You deserve it."
Sam returned to the corridors he was familiar with. He walked past their own room, eventually ended up at the large table. He put down the archangel and got between her legs, putting a kiss on her nose. "I love you."
"I really want to have sex with you right now."
Sam chuckled. "I would if we didn't eat on this table."
"I don't care." Gabe pulled him down and kissed him.
Sam felt her legs wrapped around his waist, he picked her up and carried her into their room.
"You're boring," Gabe mumbled against Sam's lips.
"I'm gonna show you boring and make you love it."
"Sounds kinky."
"Babe, you can make everything kinky."
"Yes. Let me prove it."
