Sam rolled on his side, Gabe's face pressed in between his shoulders. A soft smile spread on Sam's lips. He could feel the baby belly gently pressing against his lower back, Gabriel's arms wrapped around his torso.
"Are you up already?" Sam asked, his voice raspy and low.
"Mhm."
Sam turned in Gabe's arms and pressed a kiss on her forehead.
Gabe frowned. "I liked being the big spoon."
"You're not big anything."
"Sam!" She pushed his face away, catching a laugh.
"I love you too," he laughed. Sam stretched his back and sighed. "I have to get up. We have a visitor and I didn't want to send her home late at night."
"Should I be jealous? Why do you have female visitors late at night?"
"Because your dad showed up at Becky's doorstep and apparently didn't behave very human so she asked me what he is."
Gabriel watched him, then turned her back to him. "You can go to her. I'll sleep some more."
"I'll visit your dad with her. Also, I think she's really trying to be friends with us." Sam sat up and brushed over her arm. "She's trying really bad, and I think she'd be a good friend to us, potentially a good girlfriend to your dad."
"Where are you going with this?"
Sam a shrugged. "I think we should invite her to the wedding."
"Whatever you think, Sam."
"Are you mad?"
"I'm tired."
"Love you, sweetheart." He pressed a kiss on her hair and got up. He quickly put on some clothing and walked to the room he had shown to Becky. He knocked.
"Becky?"
Immediately, the door opened. "Good morning, Sam."
Sam smiled. "Breakfast?" He stepped aside and walked towards the kitchen. He watched inside and spotted Tedy and Dean. "Good morning, we have a guest."
Theodora, who was sitting on her father's lap, watched the two and continued to eat her cereal.
Dean watched them as well. "Hey. Uh, Tedy, we have a guest. Be polite and say hello."
"Hello."
"Good girl." He pressed a kiss on her head. "So, uhm, how come we have a visitor?"
"Long story," Sam mumbled as he prepared some quick breakfast. "We're going to Chuck today. Any interest in joining?"
"Nope."
"Thought so." Sam set two plates on the table and sat down. "Now, Tedy. How did you sleep?"
"I had a nightmare," Tedy explained. "But I went to Daddy and Papa and Daddy put salt around the bed and let me sleep with them."
Proudly, Dean smiled. "Papa tried to tell us that there are no ghosts but we wanted to be extra sure."
"Well, that's good." Sam finished his breakfast. "Anyway, we're gonna be out today."
"I think Jess and Cas are going on a-" Dean watched Tedy. "On a You-Know-What in Ohio."
"That's pretty far," Sam said.
"Yeah, that's why Tedy and I will give Papa a big hug before he leaves, right?"
"Yes!"
Sam chuckled. "You're such a little sunshine, aren't you?" He got up, put the dishes in the sink and knelt beside Tedy. "Don't anger your daddy, okay?"
She giggled and hugged him.
"She likes me," Sam smiled brightly and kissed her head. "But I gotta go now, okay?" Tedy let go and got back on Dean's lap. Sam watched Becky and smiled. "Let's go."
They walked out of the bunker, into the garage.
"That's not the Impala," Becky said.
"I have my own car now," Sam replied and got in. "With my daughter and fiancé and a baby on the way." He drove out on the street and where he remembered Chuck to live.
"So, what's really going on between you and him?" Sam asked. "Like, feeling wise."
"I don't know," Becky admitted. "I don't know if-"
"You like him or you like-like him." Sam sighed. "Trust me, I'm working through this with Serah too."
Becky bit her lip. "I think I'm gonna try it. I mean, I enjoyed my time with him a lot."
"That's good," Sam said. "And this time, don't swoon over other men. He'll know about it."
"Because he's God."
"Because he's not an idiot." Sam chuckled. "Everyone knew you weren't over me in the slightest."
"I am now!" Becky crossed her arms. "I promise."
