Sam ran his finger's through Serah's brown locks. "I thought we'd get drunk today."
"And have some really good sex," Gabriel added sighing.
"But parenting comes first." Sam looked down his chest. The nephilim was fast asleep.
"You're really good at that." Gabe put his head on Sam's shoulder and smiled. "We gotta focus on her."
Sam smiled. "I promise that my fiancé will get breakfast in bed tomorrow."
With a smile, Gabe pressed a kiss on Sam's cheek. "Can't wait to see you in a suit."
"You've seen me in a suit," Sam chuckled. "Can't wait to see you in angel attire."
Gabe laughs. "Good luck with that. I'll wear a dress."
"I bet you'd look great in a wedding dress," Sam giggled.
"Did I discover some of your preferences?" Gabe wiggled his eyebrows.
"You're my preference," Sam smiled and kissed his nose.
"So cute." Gabe traced a heart on Sam's chest. "But honestly, it'll be the best day of my life and it's been a long time."
"Yeah," Sam laughed. "You're an old man already."
"Totally. A whole 50." Gabe watched his giggling fiancé. "50 billion."
"You don't look a day older than 50 million," Sam promised.
"You really know how to talk to an archangel."
"I've had my experiences" Sam chuckled. "Since my flirting seemed to be effective with you the first time."
Gabe pressed a kiss on Sam's lips. "You're gonna tell Dean and your mom and the others?"
Sam nodded. "I would if our little princess wasn't occupying me." He slowly put Serah on the mattress and tucked her in. "You stay with her?"
"She'll be fine for a few minutes." Gabe got up and took his hand. "Let's go." They left the room and looked for the others. They found Dean and Cas in their room, Mary in the library and Jess in the kitchen where they all met.
Sam cleared his throat. "We have some news," he announced. "Gabriel and I are engaged."
Jess gasped and jumped at Sam. "I'm so happy for you!" she exclaimed and kissed his cheek.
"Finally," Dean smiled. "Only took you so long."
Castiel smiled as well. "Congratulations."
Mary approached them and hugged them. "My youngest is engaged," she smiled, a tear forming on her waterline. "I'm so proud of you."
"Thanks, mom," Sam smiled. "We couldn't tell Serah yet because she's asleep."
Gabe smiled widely. "Thanks for the support, guys."
"Are you kidding?" Dean walked up to them. "Been waiting for this for a while."
Sam smiled. "I'm glad you two put your disagreements aside for me."
"Only for you," Dean said. "And if he hurts you, he'll wish he could die."
"Very charming," Sam chuckled. "Be glad your boyfriend just happens to be my best friend."
Dean blushed. "Yeah," he said and watched the angel over his shoulder.
Sam smiled and put an arm around Gabe. "I love you," he smiled.
"I love you too." Gabe leaned to Sam's chest and closed his eyes. "I'm ready for commitment."
"Sure?" Sam kissed his head. "Is this the life you wanna live?"
"Definitely," Gabe smiled. "With you, and Serah, and maybe another baby."
"Another baby? You think?"
Gabe nodded. "I'd love that. I mean, imagine you and a baby stroller."
Sam laughed. "Sounds so nice."
In the hallway, some feathers flew across. Sam watched and walked out of the kitchen. Samandriel stood in the hallway, his hair ruffled and clothes too large for the short vessel. He ditched the Wiener Hut uniform for baggy, torn jeans and a red flannel that had seen better days. The angel dusted off his shoulders. "You're welcome." He opened the door next to him and pushed it open. Sam hesitated, then walked inside.
A person sat in the corner of the room, a trail of blood leading from the middle of the room. He was trembling, scratches and bruises covering his skin. His clothes were torn and drenched in blood and dirt.
"Adam?" Sam asked. He stepped closer and knelt down. Adam shook his head and flinched away from the hunter.
"Please," Sam said, his voice soft but concerned. "I just want to help."
"Angel." Adam lifted his head to meet Sam's eyes.
"I'll bring you to him. Just trust me." He reached out to his younger brother. He hesitated but took his hand and pulled himself up. They walked outside and to the kitchen.
Gabriel raised his eyebrows, respectively healing the younger brother.
"Who is this?" Mary asked.
Sam cleared his throat. "That's Adam. He's our half-brother."
"Oh." Mary stepped closer and smiled. "Hi," she said to the scared young man. "I'm Mary. Nice to meet you."
