Sam sighed. "Look, just go to him, okay? I don't know why, but he wants to talk to you."
The angel crossed his arms in front of his chest. "He isn't supposed to remember me," Samandriel claimed.
"Well, he does." Sam opened the door to what now was Adam's room. "Don't be a dick. He's scared. He trusts you."
The angel watched the hunter, then went inside the room. He stepped closer to the bed and sat on the edge. "Hey."
Sam had to smile at the way Adam moved closer, making sure he kept his head low. Samandriel, on the other hand, put a hand on the man's shoulder and slowly brushed up and down. "You should trust them," the angel hushed. "They asked me to save you."
Adam lifted his head and watched his older brother. Sam nodded. "It's true," Sam agreed. On his shoulder, he felt something. He turned around and watched his daughter.
"Did I miss something?" the girl asked.
"Yeah." Sam smiled. "Serah, this is your uncle Adam and, uhm, also your uncle Samandriel."
Samandriel lifted his head. "I suppose we are related."
"Didn't you stab me?" Serah asked. "Don't answer, I don't want to know. Dad, do we have pickles?"
