Sam sat down on the throne. It wasn't the most comfortable place, but that's what he had.
"Mr. Winchester, Sir." A demon walked up to the throne with a stack of papers. "Your demands are being fulfilled but-"
"It's Sam." Sam watched him. "Didn't you try to kill me once, I think Sam will do."
The demon cleared his throat. "Sam..." He looked through the papers. "Your demands are being fulfilled, but we have found some demons in Level 8."
"Bring them here." Sam tried to get comfortable in his seat. And bring me some info on what got them there. I'll judge then."
The demon chuckled. "You might be familiar with two of them in particular."
"Yeah, whatever." Sam waited as one by one they were brought before him. He judged, and sent them where he saw fit. Then, a blonde, female demon stood before him. "Meg?"
"What are you doing here?" Meg asked.
"Long story, I'm King of Hell now." He cleared his throat. "Uh, yeah, let her go, she's fine."
"Thank you," Meg said. "On another note, how's my unicorn?"
"With Dean," Sam replied. "With a beautiful adopted daughter."
"Oh." Meg shrugged. "Alright."
"I know you two had a thing or something."
"Well, I heard you had a thing with some divine being."
"I'm married to an archangel, thanks."
Meg smiled. "I'm leaving now. I'll make sure to stop by." Then, she disappeared.
Sam sighed smiling. "Next one."
Another female vessel. This time she was chained up, beaten and bloody. Two other demons carried her to the thrown and dropped ger below Sam's feet.
She raised her head and grinned. "Hi, Sammy."
Sam sat straight up and watched down on her. "Ruby."
"Long time no see." Ruby got up and watched him. "You look good."
Sam watched the others. "Can we have a moment alone?"
"Are you sure?" a demon asked.
"I can handle her."
The others left, while Ruby grinned and sat down on his lap. Sam casually reached for his angel blade. "I'm married."
"I'm sure she doesn't have to know," Ruby said and got closer to his neck.
Sam pressed the tip of the blade against her bottom jaw. "I wouldn't wanna provoke an archangel if I were you."
"That's so cute." She backed off. "Honestly, I worry less about him than about you. I mean, I wouldn't want the King against me."
Sam sighed deeply. "I'm loyal. I don't cheat, so don't bother."
"Alright, alright. I got the message." She tugged on her chains. "You know that I know things that will benefit you in the long run."
"I'm clean, Ruby." He clenched his jaw. "Not interested in sex either."
"We don't have to make it sexual, Sam." She got up. "Think about it."
Sam sighed. "Guys."
A pair of demons came in the hall. "Yes, Sir?"
"Let her go, but keep an eye on her."
They took off her chains. Ruby stretched her back. "You know where to find me."
Sam got up. "I'm done for today. If anyone decides to overthrow the government, call me." He packed his angel blade and walked through the gate. He walked to their bedroom, Gabe wasn't there.
"Babe?" He leaned out of the room. No reaction. Gabriel probably was in heaven still. Sam sat down, closed his eyes and prayed.
A soft rustling, a hand on his cheek. Sam opened his eyes and looked at Gabriel's warm smile. "You called me," Gabe smiled softly.
"I missed you." Sam put his hands on Gabe's waist and pulled him closer. "I had a rough day at work and I need to see your pretty face."
Gabe wrapped his arms around his neck and smiled. "What happened?"
"I had to take care of some demons that have been in prison."
"And?"
"Meg was in there," Sam said as Gabe's hand traced over his cheek. "And Ruby."
"Ruby?" Gabe asked.
"No no no, no jealousy." Sam pressed a kiss on his nose. "I told her I'm married and I'm not interested. And she... you know, still tried to convince with you you-know-what."
Gabe shook his head. "Don't even think about it, I swear."
"I'm clean. You know that." Sam itched his nose. "I'm stronger than that."
