Athena sighed dramatically, continuously tapping her fingers on the table as herself and Wanda listened to a boring lecture from Vision himself.
"Now time is a measurement," he said as he gestured the a picture of an old school clock on the projected screen. Athena rolled her eyes as she picked up a pen and started to scribble stick figures on the marble table "So a way that time travel could actually work would be through the 'twins paradox' which means the individual would go to space for a certain amount of time and come back to see that many years had passed. Sure, this way works but the problem is getting back. It's simply impossible. But with Quantum Physics, a..."
Athena toned out Visions bot voice as she went inside her own head. Her mind thought about 8 years ago, as it always did. She was too curious as to knowing what happened that day, and she hoped that she'd soon figure it out. She wasn't sure she could wait multiple more years, or even decades, to know what happened that day... but there was simply no way. Shield had tried bringing in as many people as possible; detectives, mind readers, witches... but none were successful — no one could bring up the treasured memory as to what made Athena... Athena.
Her ears tuned back in when she heard a knock at the glass door behind them. She turned her head and saw Tony Stark standing at the doorway with a curious gleam in his eye.
"And, Uh—" vision stopped speaking when he too noticed Tony.
"Hey, sorry, Vision." Tony said "do you mind if I have a minute with Athena? It's... important."
"As you may, Sir." Vision smiled gratefully causing Athena to groan and get up lazily from the chair.
As soon as they had left the room, Athena leaned against the wall and looked up at Tony. "What do you need?"
"Can't a man just say hi to a teenager with magical powers that could potentially compromise the whole world and destroy the planet?" Tony raised an eyebrow causing Athena to give him 'the look'.
"You never say hi, Stark." Thea smirked at him causing tony to sigh.
"Fair enough" Tony cleared his throat as he tapped at the device on his wrist before pulling up a video. Athena recognised it — it went viral on YouTube barely a month ago. It was a man, or a boy... dressed in a crappy red and blue onesie, swinging from webs that were shooting out of his wrists. He jumped in front of a car that was almost ready to hit a train but the boy swooped in and stopped it, preventing a major impact that could have killed everyone involved.
It was heroic, Athena was curious as to who was under the mask.
"The spider guy?" Athena questioned "what do you want with him?"
"It's not what I want with him..." tony paused, thinking through what he had just said "actually, yes, it's what I want with him. But I need you..." he sighed "I need you to find him for me."
Excitement filled the girl's eyes as she smiled at Tony "you mean, like... get out of lessons with vision?"
Tony rolled his eyes and looked at the girl, sighing dramatically "yes, you can get out of lessons with vision... only for a couple of weeks though, until you find him. Which, I mean, if you're good, could be a couple of days at the least."
