51 | professor hulk
"What? I feel like I'm the only one eating here. Try some of that." Bruce/hulk said as he pushed the bowl of mashed potatoes towards Scott.
Athena looked up at the merged man as Scott said "I'm so confused."
"These are confusing times." Banner chuckled as he began to eat again.
"No, no. That's not what I meant." Scott shook his head.
"I'm kidding, haha. I'm kidding!" Banner looked over at Scott. "I know, it's crazy. I'm wearing shirts now."
It was weird to see Banner in hulk form acting... normal. "Yeah, how. Why?"
"Two years ago we got our asses beat." The hulk explained. "Except it was worse for me... because I lost twice. First hulk lost, then Banner lost and then... we all lost."
"No one blames you, Bruce" Nat shook her head as she looked up at him.
"I do." He said simply. "For years, I've been treating the Hulk like he's some kind of disease, something to get rid of. But then I started looking at him as the cure. 12 months in a gamma lab, I put the brains and the brawn together. And now look at me. Best of both worlds."
Three kids approached the table "excuse me, Mr Hulk?"
"Yes?"
"Can we get a photo?" The girl asked.
"100 percent, little person." Hulk said as he took the phone and handed it to Scott. "Do you mind?"
"Oh, yeah, yeah. No." Scott said as he snapped the picture of the four. He handed back the phone to the girl and asked "do you wanna grab one with me? I'm ant-man."
The three kids looked at each other awkwardly causing Athena to chuckle and Nat to kick her from under the table.
"They're hulk fans—" Scott shook his head "they don't know Ant-Man."
"No, he wants you." Hulk interjected.
"I don't."
"who wants to take a picture with him?"
"Look, he's even saying no."
"Come on, They're kids."
"I don't wanna picture with you." Scott said to the kids sternly. "Sorry."
"He's gonna feel bad—"
"Take the god damn phone." Scott sighed as he handed it back to the boy.
"Thank you, mr hulk."
"Thanks, kids." Banner said before turning back to the table.
Athena looked to Scott and let out a loud chuckle before Nat glared at her.
"Bruce." Steve stated "about what we were saying."
"Right," The man nodded his head. "The whole time travel do-over? Uh, guys, it's outside my area of expertise."
"Well, you pulled this off," Nat complimented the man "I remember a time when that seemed pretty impossible, too."

"Okay, here we go. Time travel test number one. Scott, fire up the van thing." Banner said as the man walked over and opened up the small van. The doors opened and there stood a portal like-technology. It was intriguing to Athena, she'd never seen anything like it before.
"Breakers are set, emergency generators are on standby." Steve said as he approached the scene.
"Good." Said Banner "cause if we blow the grid, I don't wanna lose, Uh, tiny over here in the 1950's."
Scott looked up "excuse me?"
"He's kidding," Nat smiled awkwardly "can't see things clearly."
"Just, it was a bad joke..." Banner said awkwardly.
Scott nodded before walking up to the van. Athena walked over and asked, "you were kidding, right?"
"I have no idea!" The green guy exclaimed in a whisper. "I mean, we're talking about time travel here. Either it's all a joke, or none of it is." He looked up to Scott and did a thumbs up "we're good. Get your helmet on. Scott, we're gonna send you back a week, get you to walk around an hour, then bring you back in ten seconds. Make sense?"
The dude smiled, "perfectly none confusing."
"Good luck, Scott. You got this." Steve said causing Scott to smile.
"You're right." He nodded "I do, captain America."
He was transported into the van causing Athena to look at Banner and then back at the truck. "At the count of three... three... two.... one."
Scott came back out of the truck... only a younger... smaller Scott.
"Uh... guys." He said and looked up "this doesn't feel right."
"Who the hell is that?" Nat asked "is that Scott?"
"Yes, it's Scott." He said defensively before going back into the Van.
Our he came again, only an older, more grandpa version of the man. "Oh, my back."
"Dad?" Athena asked jokingly causing Natasha to chuckle in the time of panic.
"Can you bring him back?" Steve asked.
"I'm working on it."
Once again, Scott went in and back out of the truck. Only this time, he was a baby.
"It's a baby." Steve pointed out.
Hulk pointed at him and said "it's Scott!"
"As a baby!"
"He'll grow!" Bruce defended.
"Bring Scott back."
"When I say kill the power, kill the power."
"Oh, my god." Athena mumbled under her breath before walking over to the front of the truck and placing her hand, ready to shut it off.
"And... kill it!" The girl twisted the knob and out came Scott... full sized and normal. Athena let out a breath or relief before walking back over.
"Somebody peed my pants..." he stated "but I don't know if it was baby me or old me... or just me-me."
"Time travel!" Bruce exclaimed with his arms in the air.
Steve looked at him and shook his head whilst Athena sighed dramatically.
This was gonna take some time.
