"You're never gonna get her back, never gonna see her again" Athena remembered the German spy say.

"Oh, really? Because last time I heard, I'm the one who has the powers?" The fourteen year old girl said.

"You may be from the circus, but we have defences that can take down your tightrope." The guy smirked.

Athena shook her head and simply swiped her fingers, knocking the guy unconscious before running over to the elevator and unlocking it. She helped the breathless redhead out. This was the one mission the girl had failed, meaning the blonde had to save her. It used to be the other way around.

"Finally," Natasha groaned "thought you'd let go."

"Like id ever let go Natasha." Athena chuckled "after all, didn't we have that saying....?"

"Never apart." Natasha smiled causing the girls to widen.

"Two years ago... we lost. All of us. We lost friends, we lost family. We lost a part of ourselves." Steve said as they all stood on the top of the quantum realm, ready for it to start up. "Today we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams, you know your missions. Get the stones, get them back. One round trip each, no mistakes. No undoing this. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Careful, look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives. I'm ready to win. Whatever it takes."

They all looked at each other one last time before getting in position. Athena was going to Vormir with Natasha whilst Clint went with Rhodey and Nebula to Morag, Thor and rocket were going to Asgard and Tony, Steve, Banner and Scott went back to New York.

"Alright, strut those keys, jelly green." Tony said as Banner started to ignite the quantum realm.

"You promise to bring that back in one piece, right?" Rocket asked as Athena held a small version of his ships in her hands.

"Yeah, okay, I will." She assured lazily as she looked to Nat who just chuckled at her.

"As far as promises go, that was pretty lame." Rocket shrugged.

They all circled up and faced each other as Nat chuckled "see you in a minute."

As the time machine fired up, everyone put their helmets on and got ready to go in. Athena nervously looked down as she shrunk to the size of an atom and flew through light tunnels.

Athena watched as Natasha kicked a way a small, lizard-like thing causing her to chuckle. "Hey, can we hurry it up?"

"Yeah, hurry up guys, we're on the clock." Athena said as she looked to Rhodes and Clint. 

"All that... it's really helpful." Rhodey nodded to her causing her to smile. She walked up to him and hugged him "be safe —"

She then moved over to Clint and wrapped her arms around his chest "take care, I love you so much."

"I love you, too, Thea." He said as he pulled out of the hug and scruffed up her hair. "Get that stone and come back, don't mess around, okay?"
