"The entire time I knew Thanos, he only ever had one goal." Gamora started to explain as Athena sat on the table, stretching her worn out limbs and fixing her scars up with her magic. "To bring balance to the universe by wiping out half of all life. He used to kill people planet by planet, massacre by massacre."

"Including my own" Drax intervened.

"If he gets all six infinity stones he can do it with the snap of his fingers like this" Gamora explained before clicking her fingers.

"You seem to know a lot about Thanos" Athena furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the green woman.

"Gamora..." Drax started "is the daughter of Thanos."

Thor looked up instantly, his eyes filled with hate as he looked at the girl "your father killed my brother."

"Oh, boy. Stepfather, technically. She hates him as much as you do." Quill interjected.

"Thor" Athena warned as he got closer to Gamora.

"Families can be tough" he said and patted her on the shoulder "before my father died, he told me that I have a half sister that he imprisoned in Hel. Then she returned home... and stabbed me in the eye. So, I had to kill her. It's life though, isn't it? Goes round and round and... I feel your pain."

"I feel your pain as well" Quill interjected once again.

Athena turned to the walking tree and asked "does he always do this?"

"I am Groot" was the only thing he said back.

"Oh... okay." She said before turning back to the argument.

"It's not a competition but I've been through a lot. My father killed my mother and then I had to kill my father... and that was hard. Probably even harder than having to kill a sister. Plus, I came out with both my eyes which was..."

Thor looked at the object in his hand and said "I need a hammer not a spoon." He walked over to the back of the ship and asked "how do I open this thing? Is there some sort of.. Uh.. four digit code?"

"Thor" Athena warned again.

"Maybe a birthdate?" He asked again.

"Uh, What are you going?" The talking raccoon asked.

"Taking your pod" Thor answered.

Quill cleared his throat and spoke deeply "no you're not! You will not be taking out pod today, sir."

Athena furrowed her eyebrows and looked to the green girl who just shook her head in disappointment.

"Quill" Rocket asked "are you making your voice deeper?"

"No." Quill answered back.

"You are." Drax stated "you're imitating the god-man. It's weird."

"No, I'm not."

"Uh! He just did it again!" Mantis pointed out.

"This is my voice!" The star lord defended.
