"Hi. I'm captain America.—" Athena was caught of guard by his screen presence in gym class and it made her miss him even more.

"Do you know him too?" Ned questioned Peter in curiosity. He'd lost all interest in Athena's crush on Peter after finding out his bestfriend was spiderman. Little did he know...

"Yeah, we met." Peter admitted, looking at Athena with a smirk "I stole his shield."

"Today my good friend, your gym teacher, will be conducting the captain America fitness challenge."

"Thank you, Captain." The gym teacher spoke. "I'm pretty sure this guy is a war criminal now but whatever, I have to show these videos, it's required by the state. Let's do it."

Later on in the lesson, the class was doing random things. Ned and Peter were doing sit ups whilst Athena sat beside them in a split.

"What does hulk smell like?" shit. "I bet he smells nice—" no. he doesn't.

"Shut up." Peter mumbled causing Athena to chuckle.

"Is captain America cool? Or like a mean old grandpa?" Both, depends on the day.

"Ned, just shut up, okay?" Peter said, obviously frustrated with all of Ned's questions.

"Can I be your guy in the chair?" He asked.

"What?"

"You know how there's a guy with the headset telling the other guy where to go?" Ned explained. "Like— like if you're stuck in a place. I could tell you were to go—"

"Ned, I don't need a guy in the chair." Peter interjected once again.

"Maybe you do need a guy in the chair." Athena said unsure of Peters words.

"Looking good, Princeton." The gym teacher complimented her perfect split.

"Well, what about the spider-man?" Liz's group of friends caught the three's attention.

"It's spider-man." Liz spoke "did you guys see that big security cam on YouTube? He fought off four guys!"

"Oh, my gosh, she's crushing on spider-man" her blonde friend said.

"Of course she is" Athena mumbled under her breath, making Ned look at the girl and smirk. It wasn't even because she maybe liked Peter, it was because it was Liz.

"I don't know, maybe."

"Gross" her friend said, "you don't even know what he looks like. He's probably like thirty."

"I wouldn't care, I would still love him for the person he is on the inside."

Athena rolled her eyes at the basic answer before looking to Peter who was completely staring at her in Awh.

"Peter knows spider-man!" Ned exclaimed out of no where. The gym went quiet, and all the focus was on their conversation.

Athena pierced her lips together to hold back the laugh as Peters eyes went wide in shock. He stood up and walked slightly over to her.

"Uh, no i don't— I mean." He stuttered.

"They're friends!" Ned interjected.

"Yeah, like coach Wilson and captain America are friends." Flash spoke up out of no where.

"I've met him" Peter covered up "Yeah, couple times but it's, um, through the stark internship. Yeah, well I'm not really supposed to talk about it."

As Peter looked back at Ned, Athena almost choked on her laughter causing few people to look at her.

She cleared her throat before looking back at Peter with a smile.

"Well, that's awesome!" Flash said sarcastically "hey! You know what, maybe you should invite him to Liz's party."

"Yeah," Liz spoke up "I'm having people over tonight, you're more than welcome to come."

"Y-you're having a party?" Peter questioned.

"Yeah, it's gonna be dope, you should totally invite your personal friend spider-man." Flash smirked.

"I-i—"

"It's okay" Liz cut him off "I know peter is way to busy for parties anyway."

Athena smiled and walked over to Peter, placing an arm around his shoulder, "he'll be there." She smirked at Liz.

"You should come too, Thea. I'm sure you'll enjoy it." Liz smirked sarcastically and got up as the bell rang. Athena rolled her eyes and scoffed at the girl before her and Peter turned back to Ned.

"What are you doing!?" Peter exclaimed.

"Helping you out!" Ned defended himself. "Did you not hear her? Liz has a crush on you."

Peters mouth dropped wide as he looked to Ned in shock. Athena rolled her eyes and looked down at her manicured nails. "You're an avenger—" not technically. "—if any one of us has a chance with a senior girl, it's you."

Peter looked to Athena who had a small smile on her face before she walked off. "Good luck tonight."

"Wait, you're not coming?" Peter raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry, I have the stark internship tonight." She said sarcastically with a shrug.
