It had been multiple days since the meeting with the Secretary of State and Athena had done less than nothing.

Steve and Sam went to attend Peggy Carters funeral, Natasha went to Vienna to ratify the accords and Tony was god knows where. The only people left in the house with her were Vision and Wanda.

Athena sighed, switching on the News on her television. Her eyes widened at what she saw 'bombing in Vienna, King of Wakanda found dead'.

Instantly, the blonde rushed towards her phone and pressed Natasha's number. There were a few rings, until the person on the other end picked up.

"Thea?"

"Nat?" She said breathlessly before letting out a breath of relief "oh, thank god, are you okay?"

"Yeah, Yeah, I'm fine, Thea. Trust me." She said.

Athena could hear the loud sirens on the other end of the call. "What happened?"

"You remember Bucky, right?" Nat asked causing Athena to say yes "well, he bombed the building, now everybody's on the lookout for him. Steve's gonna be crushed."

"Well, not Bucky, the winter soldier" Athena pointed out to the red head.

"Yeah, there isn't much difference, Thea."

Athena let out a deep breath before looking at the tv screen once more. "Athena, I know that you've tried to protect Steve and Bucky in the past but please, stay home. If you get involved, you'll only make this worse."

"No, you just want me out of this because you don't want anyone to get hurt." Athena said. "You're scared of me."

"I'm not scared of you, Thea." Natasha shook her head "but the government are, that's why they're trying to lock you up. So, please. Do this for me, stay home."

Athena rolled her eyes and pulled the phone away from her ear, ending the call.

An explosion grew loud outside, Athena instantly got up from her bed and rushed down the stairs.

The thing she saw made her eyes grow wide.

"Guess, I should have knocked."

"Oh my god." She mumbled under her breath. "Clint!" She squealed, seeing him hit a floating knife away from his skull. She walked up to him and hugged him tightly.

Her and Clint had always been close, he trained her when Natasha was on missions and became one of her closest friends.

She dodged the arrow before running up to Clint and skidding under him, tripping him over.

"You know, you really need to stop that." Clint said as he held onto his hip. "I'm getting old."

"Ah, Clint. The light of youth still burns inside of you." The girl chuckled as she helped Clint up.

"You may only be 12, but I hate you." He joked.

Then Wanda approached him as he walked away. "What are you doing here?"

"Disappointing my kids" he said, pulling back the string of his bow before launching it into the wall. "We were supposed to go waterskiing. Cap needs our help, come on."

"Clint!" A voice called from behind them, causing Athena to externally sigh.

Vision ruined everything.

"You should not be here," he continued, slowly hovering over to the three.

Slowly, Athena turned around along with Clint and Wanda.

"Really?" Clint asked, "I retire for, what, like five minutes? and it all goes to shit."

True.

"Please consider the consequences of your actions," Said Vision, coming closer with every word.

"Okay, they're considered."

After he said that, two bolts of electricity spark out of the arrows he fired, causing Vision to stop in his tracks and get electrocuted.

"Okay, we gotta go" Clint said, gripping Athena's hand before running off.

Once they both realised Wanda wasn't running with them, they turned around to face her, confused.

"It's this way" Athena pointed to the door, confused by Wanda's actions. A minute ago she wanted to leave, why did she change her mind?

The girl pulled her sleeved over her palms. "I've caused enough problems."

"Go get your suit." Hawkeye sighed before letting go of Athena's hand and running up to Wanda.

Athena quickly ran past vision and up the staircase. She ran into the weapons room and opened the door saying 'Athena'. Out came her suit, a thick black material that had a skin tight fit and dark stripes following along its pattern.

She was about to run back out, but she spotted the necklace she hadn't worn in over a month sitting on her weapon stand. She bit her lip before picking it up.

Athena quickly put it on before tying her blonde hair up into a tight ponytail.

She quickly grabbed a dagger and put it in her belt before running back down the stairs and seeing Clint in a choke hold by Vision. "you can't over power me."

"I know I can't, but she can" he said, referring to Wanda.

Athena was about to step in but Wanda created an energy ball in her hand and approached vision.

"Vision" Wanda started, playing with the ball of magic in her hand "that's enough. Let him go. I'm leaving."

"Look who finally changes her mind." Athena mumbled to herself as she crossed her arms over her chest And watched the scene unfold.

"I can't let you." Vision stared blankly at her.

She parted both her arms widely, causing Vision to become, once again, transparent, letting Clint go.

Athena rushed over to him, helping him up from the ground whilst the whole encounter with Wanda and Vision was occurring.

"If you do this, they will never stop being afraid of you." He was almost plummeting into the ground.

"I can't control their fear," she started, "only my own."

Wanda blasted the magic at him, causing him to fly through the floor and into the dirt.

"Oh..." Clint said before turning to the both of them "Come on, we got one more stop."
