Perfectly Imperfect

chapter 6 - car rides with the lockwood brothers, and midnight kisses

kris parked the car. and we got out the car

as i got out, i admired the beauty of aaron's house.

"my parents are pretty rich" aaron said. interrupting my thoughts

"i can see that. my parents are rich as well" i said and followed behind him to the front step

"i know. i've seen your cars, and your house" aaron said while putting the key in and opening the door

"take off your shoes. melinda doesn't like the floors getting muddy" aaron said and began taking off his shoes

i did the same and walked in with him.

"hey aaron, how was school?" melinda asked

"it was good. thank you. where's mom and dad?" aaron asked her

"their out on a buisness trip. they left you a note" she said and tried handing aaron the note

but he didn't take it. he nodded 'no'

"just throw it away. i'll be up in my room doing a project. so if you need anything. i'll be upstairs" aaron said ad motioned me to go upstairs with him

i followed behind him and went inside his room.

his room was gorgeous! it had really a really beautiful blue wallpaper.

"welcome to my room. kris' room is right next door. so" aaron said and then plopped down onto his bed

"you're room is really beautiful" i said and he smirked

"i know" he said again

i rolled my eyes. "you and your big ass ego" i said and he laughed

"so are we going to start on our project?" he asked

"yeah. who's going first?" i asked and took a seat on the ground

"i'm going first" aaron sad and positioned himself to prepare for a push-up

"okay, i'll count the number of push-ups you're gonna be doing... and.... GO!" i screamed 'go' and he began the push-up process

-5 minutes later-

"50.. 51.. 52.. 53.. 54!" i said and aaron stopped

"you know you were only supposed to do like 20" i said and got in push-up position

"yeah well. i don't really care" aaron said and took my notebook so he could record my score

"okay go!" aaron said and i began the exercise

"1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10...."

-2 more minutes later-

"47!" i said and plopped down on my belly

i took my phone and checked what time it is

"aaron. i gotta be heading home" i said and began packing

"okay, come on. i'll tell my brother" aaron said and walked out the room

i sighed and followed behind him.

"lexi needs a ride home" aaron said and kris got out his room

"fine. let's go" kris said and got out his room to go to his car

-at the house-

as i was walking up to my house, i noticed aaron was following me.

as i was about to open the door. aaron pulled my arm back and pushed me up against the wall.

and then he..... kissed me
