chapter 13 - figured things out

why did i do that? i'm so clueless! i told myself 'never do to do that!'

i mumbled to myself as i walked inside my room.

i threw my backpack near my desk and plopped down onto my bed.

i sighed. "what will i do?" i asked myself and went to bed

-the next morning-

i got up and marched my way into the restroom to take a shower

-after showering-

i walked over to my closet, and picked out my black jeans, a grey sweatshirt, my vans, my black beanie, and put on my raybans before heading downstairs.

i grabbed my backpack and ran down the stairs.

when i reached the bottom of the steps, i walked into the kitchen and find my mom cooking, and kris on his phone texting some girl i guess.

"morning mom" i said and kissed her cheek

"morning honey. how was your sleep?" she asked and placed some bacon and eggs on my plate

"wasn't good. he got whipped by a girl yesterday" kris said and smirked. not removing his gaze from his phone

"shut up kris" i said and threw a piece of bacon to him

"who's this girl hon? i know what girls want to hear, and don't want to hear" my mom said and took a seat next to me

"mom, are we really having this talk about a girl?" i whined and put some bacon in my mouth

"what happened sweetie?" my mom asked

"i kissed her, and i walked away" i said and shrugged. acting like itvwasn't a big deal

"really? you walked away? what did you say?" mom asked

"i said that i needed to figure things out" i said and put egg in my mouth

"figure what things?" my mom asked

"figure out my feelings. everytime i'm with her... there's just this feeling, and i really can't explain what it is" i said and finished my last bacon

"you like her!" my mom exclaimed and smiled widely

"i do not!" i said and folded my arms

"this girl does got you whipped" my mom said. her and kris started laughing

"oh shut up. kris we gotta go" i said and walked away

while i was walking outside, i couldn't help the smile that was creeping onto my face.

because my mom was right.
