chapter 32 - halloween plans ruined

"sweetie! can you please come down!?" my mom yelled from downstairs

i groaned and made my way down the stairs

"yes?" i asked as i walked into the living room and find my parents sitting down casually with katty on my mom's lap

"take a seat please sweetheart" my mom said and pointed to the couch that's in front of her

i nodded and sat down on the couch that she pointed at

"since tomorrow is halloween. and you guys have halloween break. your father and i decided to go out of state and visit your cousins" my mom said

"but... i was supposed to be trick or treating with aaron! we were even supposed to be matching!" i whined

"well.. guess you gotta wait till christmas. cause you're going to your cousins" my father said

"can't aaron come with us?" i asked eagerly

"no.. because he has to spend time with his family as well" my mom said

"what if he doesn't want to spend time with his family?" i asked and raised a brow

"doesn't matter. his parents would think we're taking his son from them" my mom said

"but-" i was about to finish my sentence but my mom cut me off

"no buts, we're visiting them. wether you like it or not. better start packing because we're leaving tomorrow in the afternoon. better spend your last day with aaron before we leave" my mom said

"i don't want to leave! i don't even know what cousins you're talking about!" i whined

"you haven't met your cousins yet. but their names are jeric, and james. and their sister callie" my father told me

i groaned and marched up the stairs angirly.

i don't want to leave aaron! but i have no choice..
