chapter 14 - talks with katty lack

lexi's p.o.v

it's been 2 days, and aaron hasn't been talking to me

since it was the weekend, i decided to call him.

i took my phone from my desk, amd dialed his number. after 3 rings, he picked up

-phone convo-

aaron - "hello?"

me - "hey. you haven't been talking to me. i was just wondering if you were okay"

aaron - "yeah i'm fine. i'm sorry i haven't been calling or what not, how bout we hangout today? just me and you"

me - "yeah. i'd like that"

aaron - "great. get ready before 3"

me - "alright. see you later"

aaron - "okay. i'll pick you up"

me - "mkay. bye"

aaron - "bye"

we hung up and i smiled. i don't know, aaron's been acting weird since we kissed a few days ago. i wonder if he keeps thinking about it, just the way i do.

i looked over to my clock, and it was 2:15. i decided to go get ready.

i walked over to my closet and picked out my;

jean high-waisted shorts

plain black shirt

red flannel

red vans

and my red beanie

(a/n: i like red 😂)

i changed into the clothes and added a little make up.

i made my way down stairs and sat down on the couch next to katty, who is watching barney

"hey katty lack" i said and kissed her forehead

"hi leli!" she exclaimed

"why you look like that?" she asked reffering to my outfit

"why? you don't like it?" i asked

"i do. where you goin?" she asked

"i'm gonna hang out with a friend today" i said and smiled down at her

"who prend?" she asked and sat on my lap

"his name is aaron" i said and smiled

i heard a honk and looked outside to check who it was. it was aaron

aaron came out of his brother's car and started walking twoards the house

"my friend is here" i said and smiled at her

"i wanna meet your friend!" she exclaimed

i chuckled and nodded at her. "alright. let's go" i said and took her hand

while i was walking towards the door, the doorbell already rang, and i opened it.

"hey" i said and smiled once i saw aaron smiling at me

he looked down and smiled even wider.

"hey there little one" aaron said and got down on his knee so he could be katty's height

"hi" katty said a little more shy

"i'm aaron. lexi's friend" aaron said

"hi aawon. i know you. leli was talking about you" katty said and looked up at me

i looked back so i could hide my red cheeks.

"okay. katty lack, we gotta go" i said and picked her up so i could kiss her cheek

i put her down and made sure she went up to her room.

i walked out and locked the front door before i was leaving.

"shall we go?" i asked and put on a goofy grin

"we shall" aaron said and linked our arms together

i hope this 'hangout' will be better than i think it'll be
